Village Hotel at Sentosa

My family of four including two teenage sons recently stayed at this hotel. The hotel boosts a beautiful, welcoming reception area although I must say most of the staff do not talk to you, say hello or greet you around the grounds. We booked interconnecting rooms which are quite small, but very functional and the shower was spacious and the water temperature and pressure was perfect. At the hotel we were asked if we would like to purchase the buffet breakfast each morning - we did, but thought $30 SG dollars per person was quite steep. I also did not think the food choice and quality was reflective of the price. The bacon was cooked to within an inch of its life and everything was just a little lacklustre in flavour. I reflect that perhaps this is because we have been so spoilt with buffet breakfasts in Bali and Thailand that we are unfairly comparing, but again, I thought for the cost it would have been better. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and there is a great range of pools for everyone. The end infinity pool is just superb! Although I must say that for those a little wobbly or unsteady on their feet it is a little tricky getting into this pool. You need to navigate several small pools to get to the main one and it can be a little awkward. The hotel lets you take a photo of a QR code (located in reception) which means you can take the monorail for free. Vivocity has a big shopping complex with multiple places to eat and a large shopping centre on the basement levels if you want groceries - fruit, snacks, drinks etc. The internet was really unreliable here and seemed to drop out constantly which was really annoying. Just checked into our hotel and honestly, it was such a lovely experience right from the start. Huge thanks to Fahana for making it so smooth and welcoming! She was incredibly kind and thoughtful- not only was the check-in process easy but she also gave my son the cutest goodie bags filled with fun, kid-friendly treats. He was so happy. Fahana had such a warm, friendly vibe and really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. Little gestures like that make all the difference. I recently checked in for the first time in Sentosa and was warmly welcomed by Bella. She personally brought me to the reception and assisted me with my room and nearby attractions. I was genuinely touched by her kind gesture she was very accommodating and even gave us a call later just to check if everything was going well. After breakfast at Native Kitchen, which offered a wide variety of options, Bella was once again there in the lobby and recognise us and assist us with some helpful recommendations for the day. It’s these small, thoughtful touches that truly made a difference something I haven’t experienced at other hotels in Singapore. This hotel is highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back! It is always great to be back again to Village Hotel Sentosa by Far East Hospitality especially being attended by all the exceptional outstanding service team members at the hotel. Specifically Jia Long - His marvellous service has amazed us as always. He did a tremendous job during our stay. His terrific performance has impressed us and has never disappointed our trust in him. That is the reason why we love to come back more to supporting Village Hotel Sentosa by sharing our thoughts and experiences with our friends, relatives and family members. My spouse and I have informed the hotel ahead of time that our stay was going to be a Mother’s Day Celebration and they went above and beyond to make it special for us. We booked a Deluxe Room for 3 nights stay. This was our 4th time revisited Village Hotel Sentosa and it was an amazing experience for us! Room was clean and very comfortable as always. They decorated our room with balloons and a beautifully presented Mother’s Day Card with very sweet and thoughtful words written on it together with boxes of colorful macarons which was a very delightful surprise for us especially our mother. That has definitely touched her heart and made her stay feel so special and happy. We truly appreciate everyone’s efforts! Especially Jia Long - Thank you so much for organising all the lovely sweet arrangements! Jia Long is the most accommodating and reliable person you will meet. His hotel management skills are commendable as he gets things done in a very calm manner and always making sure we enjoy our stay throughout. His genuine dedication towards us was remarkable. We commended Jia Long is a genuine guy. Undoubtedly he is all highly professional at his job. We can't praise the frontline staffs enough because everyone did a fantastic job! All have done very well in their respective roles. Some were even very observant as they could recognise and remember us of our return! That was very impressive! Upon checking-in our room at the front desk reception, we were attended and greeted by Mirza with his smiley face and everything was seamlessly handled over our keys along with all the essential hotel’s information. Followed by Tivya came over to greet us with her sweet smile and handed our mother a box of macarons and balloon with “Happy Mother’s Day” written on it. Thank you all! That was so sweet and thoughtful! During our stay, we had buffet breakfast and ala carte lunch/dinner at Native Kitchen - a highly recommended family restaurant where you can find different selection of cuisine which is quite tasty as I personally love the local food. The F&B service team members were all amazing as everyone consistently provided their outstanding services and always made us feel welcomed. Especially Dicky, Darius, Maria, Rommel, Erni - They were all a Gem of a person. They always took care of us like their own friends everytime we dined-in. The same goes to the others - Jovelyn, Sarmila, Mai, Michelle and some part-timers etc. And not to forget the kitchen chefs and also the very impressive ROBOT KEENON is a very likeable helper! We were very satisfied with our overall staycations. Once more, we want to convey our deepest gratitude to the entire Village Hotel Sentosa service team members who have made our stay so enjoyable and rejuvenating.
