“Magical Stay at Sheraton Royal Orchid Bangkok”

My experience at the Sheraton Royal Orchid Bangkok was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I knew I was in for something special. The hotel combines luxury, comfort, and authentic Thai hospitality in a way that makes every guest feel genuinely valued. The riverfront location is unbeatable. Waking up to panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River was breathtaking—especially at sunrise and sunset. The hotel’s private pier made it incredibly easy and enjoyable to access the river taxis, turning every outing into a scenic adventure. My room was beautifully appointed—spacious, spotless, and elegantly decorated with modern touches. The Heavenly Bed lived up to its name, offering an incredibly restful sleep after exploring the city. The floor-to-ceiling windows added a stunning visual highlight to the entire stay. The club lounge was another major highlight, offering gourmet snacks, delicious drinks, and a peaceful atmosphere with jaw-dropping views. The breakfast buffet was superb, featuring a wide variety of international and Thai dishes, all prepared with great care and using fresh ingredients. The pool area felt like an oasis in the middle of the city. Surrounded by greenery and overlooking the river, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The fitness center was spacious, well-equipped, and spotless—ideal for maintaining a routine while traveling. Most importantly, the service at Sheraton Royal Orchid was exceptional. Every staff member I encountered—from the front desk and concierge to the restaurant servers and housekeeping—was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring the perfect stay. Their hospitality elevated the experience to a whole new level. If you’re planning a visit to Bangkok and looking for a riverside luxury hotel that blends comfort, convenience, and unforgettable service, the Sheraton Royal Orchid is the perfect choice. I can’t recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning on my next trip.

Simply the best hotel in the world ! Amazing building, amazing staff members. I’ve been staying here for 4 times, couple of nights and I recommend this hotel to everyone.. because it’s unique. You have smiles everywhere from the staff, shops inside the hotel, animation and bars inside, amazing views, pools, everything you need for a perfect holiday. Also you have free boat shuffle to many places.

“Average at best”

Having been to Bangkok over several years I found this hotel compared to others, at best, average PROS: river view from rooms, nice garden pool (although at times the diesel fumes from boats can be noxious), sunset drinks at Siam Yacht Club, good breakfast array, Thai Restaurant, responsive staff Cons: rooms are dated and dull (housekeeping failed to to pick up a coffee stained valance prior to our checkin) Outside breakfast area, not enough umbrellas, inside breakfast area lacks personality. We generally stay closer into town which gives you better options for eating beyond the hotel, that was something that was definitely lacking in this area, that’s not the hotels fault. Would I stay here again, no, I like a nice room with modern fixtures and breakfast area that feels like I’m on holidays not in the business cafeteria.
