My five-star rating, along with this review of compliment, is given primarily to both Khun Ao of the Front Office and Khun Kim of the F&B for their amazing hospitality devoted towards preparing for my stay. Shortly upon checking the room at night, I identified an issue which seemed to be a shortfall in services reasonably expected of a World of Hyatt property and accordingly reported to the general manager. Having said that, Khun Ao actively stepped up to approach me in person and managed to turn the situation around with her attentiveness and swift action. Her swiftness in response, coupled with the eagerness to accord the highest priority to guests’ satisfaction, definitely impressed me. This is what I called professionalism in hospitality - dare to face challenges, eager to observe and listen, able to take swift actions, and commit to perfection. She left me with a very promising impression, and I trust she will excel in her ongoing career with whichever hotel chain or property to be engaged. Likewise for Khun Kim, I have to thank him for taking care of my dietary preferences during breakfast as well as showing me around from the roof top all the way down to the lobby to let me familiarise myself with the hotel facilities on offer. All in all, hospitality is about people-first business. As a Globalist member I am of the view that the Hyatt Group definitely needs more hospitality professionals with such refined qualities like Khun Ao and Khun Kim to continue to strive and shine.
