Disappointing would be the best way to describe the stay.
Booked thru Amex Hotel Collection, which was supposed to give us complementary valet parking. We arrived in our own car, valet was never offered as there is never a doorman/valet at the entrance. As a matter of fact, the day we arrived we unloaded our luggage and parked the car ourselves. In fact throughout our stay, it was never offered so the “benefit” was absolutely pointless.
We were upgraded to premium room, which was bigger than what we booked. But it was on the 3rd floor. Not really a bad thing but there was no view. For some the reason the ceilings in the halls are extremely low, think anyone taller than 2m/6’5” wouldn’t be able to walk without crouching.
Room was spacious, but the light switches are confusing. There 6 switches next to the bed but they are all unlabeled so have to just pressing just to turn on/off the correct lights.
Bathroom on the small side, low ceilings in the bathroom doesn’t help. Water pressure in the shower seems to be low.
Breakfast was disappointing, selection wasn’t bad, but nothing stood out was just meh. Supposed to a Spanish inspired menu, but the only thin I saw that was “Spanish” were churros. Seating arrangement sucked, they seemed to try to fit as many tables they could and it was just too crowded.
Wouldn’t stay here again.

Superb hotel in Chiang Mai. Modern, very well located close to the night market, the hotel is a great blend of Asia traditions and modernity. The roof top is worth the visit. Great views and even better cocktails. Swimming pool was great to relax in between tours. Me Fluke help us out tremendously with excursions, things to do and restaurants. He is also fluent in Spanish, as well as other employees. Everyone very amicable and helpful. I strongly recommend the hotel when visiting Chiang Mai.
