Day of our wedding - we check in for 2 nights. My wife is in her wedding dress and nobody meets us or greeted us. Sweating a lot in the heat and no welcome drink. They made us wait in the lobby for 10 minutes for no reason whatsover. I had to carry my own bags in my suit to the room. They gave me no update on the 35 guests we were bringing for the buffet. They didn't have enough tables and chairs for the guests in the end. We drunk half the bar until midnight, and spent a lot of money and I turn up 3 mins after breakfast finishes (10:33) and they wont even give me a coffee. I walked to two bars on site and they dont serve coffee. Had to leave the hotel to get 2 coffees (wife hungover). 5 ☆ facilities perhaps, but 0 ☆ customer service.

I had an unforgettable experience at La Vela Khao Lak. The staff were truly outstanding friendly, professional, and always attentive. They made my birthday celebration extra special, with housekeeping beautifully decorating my room and creating a warm, festive atmosphere. The fire show was the best I’ve ever seen, full of energy and excitement. The buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options, and room service was consistently friendly and efficient. Every team member I encountered went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you to everyone at La Vela Khao Lak for your hard work and professionalism. Everything was excellent, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay.
