Magical location on a stunning beach, immaculate hotel with excellent bedrooms, all overlooking the most beautifully kept gardens leading down to a huge pool , on one side a massage parlour and on the other a waterside a la carte restaurant and cocktail bar. Food delicious, from excellent breakfasts, snacks or larger lunches and memorable dinners offering different cuisines each night. and best of all the most sensational staff who go out of their way to make you feel special, in particular Tarn, Lerk A1K Lin,Ae, Mai and Jai. Also brilliant beach restaurant and cocktail bar next door to the Hotel. Can't wait to go back.

We spent 11 nights at the Outrigger, Khao Lak, in February 2026. We have had the privilege of traveling a lot in our lives and have been spoiled with absolutely world-class hotels..! Now we have one more on our list... However, our first impression was a feeling of a little disappointment... it didn't really feel 5-star..! We had a few different opinions that we considered to be the basis for it - only one restaurant (+breakfast restaurant), only one pool and some smal things that we missed - good lighting in the bathroom, comfortable balcony furniture, etc. Not that it bothered us very much, but yes - our assessment was about 4 stars. Now, when we got home, the rating itself is probably correct - regarding the hotel. What makes this a 5-star hotel is the fantastic staff..!!! Woaw! From the guard to the manager and everything in between - service and attitude are absolutely world-class!!! This is what makes this a hotel 5-star hotel..!!! The whole team is fantastic, but we still want to give an extra thank you to some - who made a deep impression on us - or in other ways made us feel so incredibly cared for and truly welcome. Jam - The cutest waitress in the world. Humor with a twinkle in her eye and at the same time so professional. The most stylish bracelets in town too...! Keep it up - you are a blessing to everyone you meet! Lin - You captured our hearts right away! Almost ALWAYS working, but always has a smile on her face. 100% service! Skilled at her job and made sure we had a much better time than we deserved! THANK YOU! Cherry - Being welcomed by you and your smile in the morning... well, that's when the day started really well! Thank you!!! Non - What a commitment!!! Thank you for giving us that little extra - everything from conversation and drinks at the sun lounger - to serve ice cream of the best quality - and above all = a warm smile as a welcome. Sa - Keeps order on the beach with his team of lovely guys who are there attentively every day for everyone! Even managed to trick Anders on the volleyball court..! :))) Never a problem. Just a smile! Thank you! Mirin - If we ever start a restaurant again - we will hire you right away! You have both the look and the commitment required - you will go far!!! Good luck! Cleaning staff - you made sure that our room was in top mint condition every day! Top class cleaning combined with small details (we loved it) - thanks to the whole team! Au - This guy should maybe be a little bit "cocky" considering his title... but, no! Always smiling, genuine conversations about life and very keen that we (...and everyone else) should enjoy ourselves. Many laughs together and so much genuine warmth! Wap - When we understood that you were the manager, everything fell into place! So warm, so caring, so professional! They say that it all starts with the boss and you seem to be the ultimate boss! Thank you for everything you do and we hope you get the cred you so well deserve! ...and then the whole wonderful team! A big thank you from us - for making our trip something absolutely wonderful and special. And then - when you also offer Asia's best singer in our opinion - yes, that's a whole other advantage... You gave us so many wonderful evenings with your singing, Winnie! The fact that we will definitely come back to Outrigger means that we don't need to mention the parts that could possibly be better to reach 5 stars in our opinion...
