We had a great couple of days here. The Sarojin manages to be contemporary in design, with painstaking attention to comfort and still be completely charming and timeless. It feels old-fashioned in the most comforting way. Polished wood throughout with lush tropical gardens, lilly ponds, lawns and plenty of spots to sit and watch this slow moving paradise. Our ‘garden View’ room was vast, with enormous spa-like bathrooms featuring indulgent rain showers you’ll never want to leave. The sense of space carries across the resort — it’s not overly large, which makes it feel private and intimate. The infinity-edge pool is spectacular, elegant four-poster sunbeds seem to float in the water. Add a cocktail bar and restaurant overlooking a powdery, palm-fringed beach, and it’s every bit as dreamy as the photos suggest. The staff are a true highlight: warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble, and their gracious hospitality set the tone for our stay. If there was one small drawback, it was the dining experience. The menus are beautifully conceived, brimming with creativity, yet on our first nights they didn’t quite meet the promise. However, sampling the Thai breakfast instantly changed our minds — vibrant, authentic, and exquisitely prepared, leaving us wishing we’d leaned into the local flavors earlier. The setting, staff, and atmosphere make it a place we would wholeheartedly recommend. Read less

Perfect+ experience. Quiet, excellent service. Breakfast any time until 6pm was great. Pool was great. Beach as well. Good for SUP. One of the best hotels we've stayed in.

The beach was a stones throw away and was gorgeous. The food was delicious and the all day breakfast was convienient especially when adjusting to local time in the first few days. Khao Lak centre was a short taxi ride away. The Sarojin has its own luxury SUV's for the ride into town, (300 Baht one way). By far the wonderful staff made our stay the best ever. A heartfelt thanks to everyone from the front desk to the restaurant. They were kind, helpful and always smiled. It felt like we made friends for life. Hopefully one day we will return. Thank you The Sarojin. Read less

The hotel is nice and the staff very friendly, but I had issues with the food quality. I felt sick a couple of times after dinner and breakfast. The quality of the food is average compared to other hotels in the area where I stayed (where the food was sublime). The Thai curry they served did not contain real crab but canned crab, which I found pretty odd for a five-star hotel. The pizza was overcooked. I feel they'd need to step up the attention to detail when it comes to food. Compared to other 5 star hotels in the area, this rankes quite behind. Read less
