“Amazing experience. I can't wait to go back”

I flew in from Australia to meet my friend who flew in from the UK. Neither of us had been to Thailand before so just took a punt on this hotel. WOW. We had zero complaints about this resort, it's clean, quiet and peaceful. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels each day. The food in the on-site restaurant is great, breakfast choices were many. Two pools, one with a swim up bar. A gym for those crazy enough to want it and a beautiful spa for onsite pampering. Whilst all the staff were amazing special mention must go to two standouts, Kaoh from the pool bar who kept us hydrated and provided loads of local information, always with a smile and the Lovely lady who greeted us every morning at breakfast, making our cup of tea and showing us to our seat. On my last breakfast I was sad because my friend had already left and she told me "we are here for you". Such a sweet and beautiful girl, I wish I could remember her name. You will not be disappointed if you go to this resort. You should also.check out Rosie at the tour shop across the road...

“Incomprehensible”

We checked into the Chaweng Regent Beach Resort today. The check-in process itself was smooth, and the resort grounds look beautiful and well-maintained. However, we encountered a significant problem with our room assignment. We were given a room on the first floor, which is a major disadvantage for us as we have a baby and a stroller. Carrying a stroller, a baby, and down the stairs is very inconvenient and simply not practical. We asked to be moved to a ground-floor room, but unfortunately, the staff at the front desk informed us that no other rooms were available. The suggested solution was for us to book a different room ourselves for the following night via Booking.com or potentially pay for an upgrade. This was very disappointing. As guests who have already booked and paid for a stay, we expect the hotel to be more accommodating and find a solution for us, rather than placing the burden on us to re-book through a third-party website. We are now left hoping that a room becomes available tomorrow.
