We were here January '25 and rebooked directly with the hotel to come back Jan'26. The staff throughout the hotel are friendly, helpful and efficient in all departments.
As we had been before we knew the layout of the site ,which is lovely chalets of various sizes in lush ,well tended gardens..a tropical oasis beside the beach.
My recommendation are Premier level chalets, there is more space inside, and slightly seperated from Deluxe/standard ones, although all levels will be lovely. Pool area is well maintained, we never had a problem finding sun beds, the beach sunbeds are popular. Breakfast more than adequate, good evening meals. Since our last trip El Salon has opened in the zen-like transit space between reception and pool/chalets...it serves coffees, cakes ,snacks in a chic coffee shop style..a great addition.
Fishermans village is a mere 200yds down the road, a harder trudge if you go down the beach..very busy 3 times a week, great market, bars, restaurants, nightlife buzz..if thats your thing.
There is a Big C supermarket bang outside Peace resort if you want to stock up on drinks, snacks, toiletries etc.Very very cheap.
The highway into town is very busy,ALL the time..if you cross, i suggest you walk a little way down the road, ask one of the other security hotel guys to see you across with his red flag and whistle. Best 20 baht you'll spend if youre a tipper!
We felt at home from the start, were remembered by some staff, met some new ones, lemon and ginger tea was brought to the room, unasked for, by Bell, when my wife felt a little under the weather.Very touching gesture.
I could go on...you need to come.
Big thanks to Bell, Erica,Natty,Arr,Lookpad,Arr and new star ,just arrived, Fern...plus all others in reception, booking, gardens and housekeeping .
What a great gang, a credit to Peace Resort.
