“A paradise underneath the frangipani trees”

We stayed at the Amari Vogue from August 11st until August 22nd. We were so relaxed there that we completely lost any sense of time. We messed up the dates and nearly missed our flight back home, believing we had one more day to stay! We are eternally grateful to the lovely maid of our room, who reminded us that our checkout date was "tomorrow" and not the "day after tomorrow" as we thought! The entire staff of the hotel was very friendly and extremely helpful, always with a smile. We are grateful to the nice guy from the front desk that helped us with refueling our rented car. For 10 days our spacious and wonderfully decorated room was our little corner of paradise. The hotel is situated in a fantastic scenery between the tropical jungle and the beautiful sea, only 20 minutes by car from Ao Nung, offering peace and quiet. The sea is immediately in front of the hotel and the sunset views are extraordinary. This immediate proximity of the hotel to a fantastic beach is an absolute winner! Both the bar and the restaurant offer fantastic views of the sea and the islands. The elephant's pool is absolutely charming but our favorite was the rock pool. Having coffee underneath the frangipani trees is an experience we will never forget.

Stayed with 2 business partners for a short working vacation and couldn't have asked for more. The staff were great, service great, food great, everything really good. Rooms were very clean and spacious. A lovely stay.

We have just returned from spending 14 days at this resort. We were last here 8 years ago. The staff were always welcoming and always greeted us with the famous Thai smile. We booked the Deluxe King room that had a spectacular view of the sea and limestone islands. The room was always kept clean by housekeeping. The food at Marcos was without fault. Highly recommend the pizza as well. For our last dinner we had the Lobster Thermidor and it did not disappoint. The daily breakfast was always something to look forward to. The drinks from the bar were always fresh and the staff attentive. We had the iced watermelon every day. The only disappointment was with the Spa pricing - which we found too expensive. We did partake in the 60 minute full body massage and the girls were very good at their craft. I would highly recommend this Hotel if you are after a quiet relaxing holiday. The hotel has a daily shuttle into Ao Nang from 11am and a 3pm collection from the Holiday Inn. AU$26 return for two. Takes about 20 minutes. We hired a private car for a shopping trip to Krabi Town, takes about 45 minutes. We will definitely be back.
