The hotel

The gorgeous gardens and pools at Krabi La Playa Resort provide a great getaway, offering up endless hours of relaxation. One of the resort’s swimming pool is pretty traditional, a series of interconnecting pools accompanied by sunbeds, poolside dining, and swim-up bar with the other ‘Emerald Pool’ is something a bit different. Both stretch right up to some of the hotel’s renovated rooms and suites, allowing guests to step right into the water from their terrace. The two acre gardens are just as inviting, with their own bar and seating spots. And, if that’s not quite enough space to relax, you could always head to the sands of Ao Nang and Noppharat Thara beaches, 150 meters away, with shopping, dining and nightlife nearby.

What I love: Location – easy access to two beaches (5 to 10 minutes’ walk): Ao Nang and Noppharat-thara. Breakfast – fresh, varied and plentiful and buffet tables are placed in a separate air-conditioned room – certainly helps to keep the flies and birds away to an extent. Very relaxing breakfast experience with soothing music. Room – clean, quiet, huge and comfortable. Rooms on the top floor in the main building (5 levels) are the best for surrounding views. Balconies are brilliantly designed to keep noise from neighbours to a minimum (no disturbance at all). The newer, smaller wing (3 levels) faces a smaller pool with ghastly-looking green tiles (bad colour choice which makes the pool appear to be full of algae!). Staff – very friendly, responsive and helpful. Facilities – 4 different pools to suit guests’ needs. Hot and cold water dispenser is available at the lobby to refill your water bottles. What I dislike: 1. Lack of attention to details: Some of the cushion covers at the lobby seats are stained and seems like they have not been washed for ages! 2. Mosquitoes: No insect screen at balcony. Put on lots of insect repellant once you step out of the room 3. Too pushy: Being persistently urged to leave an immediate review during checkout. stay was great. staff was great. food was okay, quite place for relaxing and easy access for sevenEleven to get all the viral stuff! 🤣 nearby night market for food hunting. nearby shopping kiosk for shoppers. overall i have a pleasant stay here. thank you!

Such a lovely hotel. I enjoyed it so much. The staff is wonderful. You are at the perfect location, just in the middle of 2 beaches! Oh and the garden it absolutely beautiful with a huge pool. It has been the second time I was staying at this hotel. I would recommend it.

Amazing service & hospitality. It was a surprise birthday trip by my husband & they really went all out to prep the room & birthday cake. Loooove it. Hotel location near the beach & multiple shops. Can tour by walking or taking tuktuk. Tucked away from the street noise.
