Where to start!
Let’s start from the beginning... I stayed at the Andaman Embrace Hotel from the 07/11/2025 – 21/11/2025 as a solo traveller. The very second I got out of my taxi, I was very kindly greeted by one of the porters who took my bags and walked me to reception.
HOTEL:
The reception staff were incredibly polite and so welcoming. I was given all the information needed about the hotel, including emergency procedures and useful information about getting around town safely. The team were happy to answer all of my questions and offered me advice and made me feel privileged. A brilliant group at reception.
After signing the usual papers and receiving my room key, I was taken to my room by the same porter I first met. The room I stated in was 1412, located on the ground floor right next to the Twigs restaurant (so convenient). The room had its own private pool, which led out to the main pool and one of the bar areas. The room was absolutely stunning with a beautiful bed, sofa, amazing bathroom/toilet area too, which has a free to use electronic safe and actually has a hair dryer too! The air conditioning was simply perfect as you can easily control it from your bedside along with a master light switch that turns off all the lights in one go and also has separate switches for individual lights.
The hotel is so much bigger than I expected as there is another restaurant located on the 6th floor with a beautiful view of the surrounding area (amazing to see the sun setting). There’s also a gym/fitness room (I didn’t use it because I was too busy eating LOL). A very convenient mini mart attached to the front reception, which sells pretty much everything you’ll need at a surprisingly cheap price! The location of the hotel is perfect because it’s close to everything, such as the beach, taxi ranks, 7-Eleven, pharmacy, and local street food areas. It’s not too close that it’s loud and uncomfortable, but close enough that it’s completely effortless to walk to. You’re guaranteed to get a beautiful night’s sleep as guests do respect the noise rules during the late evening and night.
The buffet breakfast is so nice! The food is always hot and fresh, and the coffee & tea are always refilled before they go completely empty. The eggs were amazing, made fresh in front of you and made your satisfaction as there are ingredients such as fresh peppers, mushrooms, onions, ham. There is food that caters for all such as Thai, European, American and Japanese style breakfasts. The breakfast buffet is between 06:30 – 10:30 daily.
The cleaning team is absolutely fantastic, so polite, and always greeting guests with a smile each time. The team always knocks before entering your apartment and asks if you need them to make up your room and whether you need anything extra. They really go that extra mile to make your stay very pleasant. They also interact with guests.
SURROUNDING AREA:
There is so much happening in the surrounding area all the time such as live music from local bands at the beach, hundreds of street food vendors (I highly recommend having a look) restaurants and bars, so many gift shops (too many to choose from) and transport services such as taxis, tuk-tuks, motorbikes (yes, a motorbike taxi).
Upon leaving the hotel from the main reception, both left and right have 7-Eleven, pharmacy, restaurants, street food vendors ATMs (use MONZO in ATMs for the best option) multiple money exchange booths (look around for the best rates). If you walk approximately 15mins in either direction from the hotel reception exit, you’ll eventually end up at Bangla Street (the best strip you’ll see) which is absolutely amazing as there are bars, restaurants, street food vendors, live music and street shows such as magicians and mimes.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
My experience was amazing, I felt safe and valued at all times The Thai people are so kind, polite and respectable to foreigners as well as each other. A little kindness goes a long way...
Would I stay again?... Most definitely! In fact, I will be booking again in November 2026 and praying that room 1412 would be available.
