As a family, we always look for destinations that offer meaningful, hands-on science experiences for our kids. Before this trip, we searched for science museums in Phuket but found very few options besides the aquarium. That’s why discovering the Marine Biology Center at Hyatt Regency Phuket was such a surprise.
The programs completely exceeded our expectations. They are thoughtfully designed, educational, and incredibly engaging for children who are curious about science and marine life. Rather than the usual resort activities, our kids were thrilled to have a chance to participate in experiments, crafts, and interactive learning that sparked their curiosity. They loved making slime and were especially excited about the Mysterious Transformation workshop and the Aquarium Masterclass. It was inspiring to see them having so much fun while learning something new.
A heartfelt thank you to Opal, who was so responsive and helpful even before our arrival. She answered all of my questions promptly and gave excellent recommendations that helped us plan our itinerary. We also want to thank Disney, whose passion, professionalism, and energy made every activity memorable. She connected wonderfully with the children and created an environment where they felt excited to explore, ask questions, and learn.
The only drawback for our family was the pool and beachfront. They are well maintained, but compared to other family resorts in Phuket, we found them a bit simple. Families with younger children who enjoy water slides, splash zones, or sandy beach play areas may find the facilities somewhat limited.
That said, if your children love science, marine life, and hands-on learning, Hyatt Regency Phuket is truly one of the best family resorts we’ve experienced. The Marine Biology Center and Camp Hyatt offer something genuinely unique. We would absolutely return for the educational programs alone!
