The first thing that struck me about this hotel was how it completely transports you away from the city. The moment you step through the entrance, you forget you’re surrounded by urban life and feel like you’ve escaped to a retreat surrounded by a jungle.
Check-in was hassle-free. My only suggestion would be to improve the reception area, as it was consistently hot and could definitely benefit from better air conditioning.
The room itself felt a little compact, although the bath area was spacious. One issue that I hope the hotel addresses is the noticeable drainage smell that comes when in the shower. It’s a small detail, but one that takes away from an otherwise pleasant stay.
Now, onto the highlights…
Breakfast was excellent, with an impressive variety. A special mention has to go to the pastry chef—the croissants were genuinely among the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere, flaky, buttery, and absolutely delicious.
One evening,we ordered the mango sticky rice at the restaurant, and it turned out to be one of the finest versions we had during our entire trip through Thailand.
The real star of this hotel, however, is its spectacular pool and beach area. You can reach it either by walking through the underground tunnel or by taking one of the complimentary buggies that shuttle guests across the road.
The infinity pool sits right beside the beach, surrounded by swaying trees, with a beachfront restaurant serving refreshing drinks and delicious food . This is also where the sea-facing rooms are located. If you plan to spend more time in the hotel, I would absolutely recommend booking one of these rooms. Waking up to those ocean views is worth every penny.
There are plenty of sun loungers, so finding a relaxing spot is never an issue.
The beach itself is beautiful. Swings hang from the trees, horses stroll along the shoreline offering rides, and the entire setting feels like something straight out of a storybook. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself reaching for your camera every few minutes.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel. With a few small improvements—particularly the shower drainage smell and the reception air conditioning—it has the potential to be truly outstanding.
