1. Unclean Bedding:
While preparing to rest, I discovered dirty bed sheets—not just in one spot, but in multiple areas. The stains were not simply dust but appeared to be disgusting liquid marks. Is this the standard of hygiene expected from a five-star hotel?
2. Poor Restaurant Service:
At the restaurant, I ordered fries and waited for an hour despite there being no other guests. When I finally asked about the delay, I was told they had forgotten to prepare the fries. Why would this happen? If I hadn’t followed up, would I have never received my order? Yet, the charge for the fries was still included in my bill.
3. Racial Discrimination:
I experienced what I believe was racial discrimination. Is this the kind of behavior condoned by a globally recognized five-star hotel? Proper training on respect and inclusivity should be a priority.
4. Poor Room Soundproofing:
The soundproofing in the room seemed nonexistent. At night, loud noises from outside constantly disturbed my sleep. Am I here for a vacation or to suffer?
5. Serious Security Issue:
Most alarmingly, when I went for a swim at the beach, I left cash (USD, THB, and RMB), a gold bracelet, and a Rolex watch in my room. After housekeeping cleaned the room, they failed to lock the door, leaving it wide open. Where is the security? Is this the level of service expected from a five-star hotel?
Point 6:The facilities in the hotel were malfunctioning. The bathroom door could not even be closed properly. When defective items continue to be provided to guests, does it mean we are not worthy of respect?
