“Great facilities but loud music everywhere-not for you if you like birdsong!”

The facilities are amazing for kids but we just wish there was somewhere in this beautiful resort where there wasn’t piped music(80’s techno) the whole time-it really spoilt the experience for us

Just finished an amazing stay at the Avani in Khao Lak. Really couldn’t fault a single part of the experience. We were room & Breakfast. The breakfast was incredible in both quality and variety. Every member of staff we met were so helpful and friendly. For families it is an ideal hotel with brilliant facilities. Kids pools are partly shaded by the beautiful garden. The petting farm is great idea and my daughter loved popping in to see the animals each morning. This is the first year my daughter has wanted to go into the kids club and they have a brilliant set up in Avani. It’s very safe and secure, kids are signed in/out and they have a vast amount of activities. Pam, Pui, Junie, Nina and Kate were all so helpful. Around 5 Pam would be down at the beach area and our daughter loved painting shells with her. It makes a big difference to your holiday knowing there is such a great facility for the kids to enjoy. Food and Drinks were lovely in the hotel, expensive for Thailand but no more than you would pay at home. The gardens and beach area is exactly what I imagined Thailand to be. Absolutely stunning. Plenty of natural shaded areas to relax on the beach and the sunsets were out of this world. If you turn left in the beach 5 mins walk is a short row of restaurants and shops. As well as plenty of massage beach huts. All 3 Mr. Bao, be friendly and happy place were so cheap and a lovely place to spend the evening looking out to the beach. A massage there was around 350-500 for an hour. If you turn right there are a number of bars and restaurants too. Kate’s kitchen a bit further on is outstanding and great place to try a cooking class. Overall Avani is without doubt 10/10. We will definitely be booking again

Fabulous 4d3n nights stay here. Service was top notch. Shout out to Ing whose warmth and hospitality really made all the difference, always willing to go out of her way to look after us during the trip. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Resort grounds are fantastic for families, plenty to do in the kids club. There's indoor and outdoor rock walls, mini golf course, kids pool.... Complimentary daily morning exercise classes like yoga, tai chi... and a nice gym. Plentiful eateries abound, from burger food trucks by the beach to sushi bars and a host of other restaurants. Will definitely be back.
