We have recently had the privilege of staying at the hotel as part of our 3 week visit to Thailand. We stayed for 5 nights and came away wishing we had longer! The whole experience and standard across the hotel from start to finish was a 5* one!
The hotel is situated in a quiet spot but within walking distance to restaurants and shops if you want a change a scene. A taxi can be picked up if you want to go into town. Although the beach isn’t accessible at all times a short walk does take you to one you can walk along or swim at. However, when the tide goes out there is a fabulous beach in front of the hotel.
We stayed in the beachfront villa with a private pool and separate lounge area which we highly recommend. The peace and solitude at the resort is exactly what we needed , the laid back atmosphere of the hotel just added to the overall feel of rest and relaxation. The cleaning standard is very high, the only slight issue is the pool possibly needs some maintenance to help keep the water clean and fresh.
We had booked through luxury escapes and had a 2 course daily meal included, as well as a floating breakfast (which was great fun and delicious), a daily cocktail and a 60 minute massage. We upgraded to the aromatherapy massage for a minimal cost and the experience was amazing! We decided to have another treatment there with a 60 minute organic facial plus 30 min back and shoulder massage, the facial was absolutely incredible and the best I’ve ever had. My husband opted for the sunburn wrap and massage which he very much enjoyed too.
The food at the hotel is nothing short of outstanding and plentiful! We particularly enjoyed the pacing of the a la carte breakfast, at home we’re always in a hurry so taking the pace down several notches so very much appreciated. The service is exactly how it needs to be when in holiday, no rush but there when you want it.
The chef at the resort needs a huge “well done” for the consistently high standard of the food served. The restaurant is open air but very well shaded, with the sunsets at dinner are breathtaking.
Now, the best part of the resort is the staff. We truly felt they knew us by the time we left, we were on first name terms with several of restaurant staff. The staff we got to know most were Aye, Ar, Tin, Benz and Aum. The level of service we received from them all was fantastic and words cannot express what wonderful and beautiful people they all are. There are many others we didn’t learn by name but all were fantastic. The friendliness and kindness we received from them all really does show what a very special place La Casa is. We really felt very sad when we left and felt we were leaving friends behind.
We want to thank you all for our wonderful stay and hope to return one day.
