“Wonderfull”

The hotel is amazing, very stylish design, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Excellent beach in the reserve, moon and sun pools, excellent breakfasts, magnificent SPA. The staff is very friendly, you get the feeling that you are welcome as a dear guest, almost close relatives. Separately, I would like to mention a girl named Fon. Besides the fact that she is very beautiful and friendly, she quickly and efficiently solved all the issues and helped with all the tasks that we asked. I was also pleased with her knowledge of English. We rented a villa with a small swimming pool, which was great for taking a dip in the morning or after a sunny day at the beach. In general, we strongly recommend the hotel. If you want to spend your time enjoying yourself and not worrying about anything, this is the place for you.

“Good but too remote (for my liking)”

Fantastic rooms with absolutely stunning vibes. Very modern and spacious and clean. However, the location is something to consider. If you like a remote, hotel where all you do is lounge and eat at the hotel restaurant all day with very limited access to the outside world, then this is great! However, it is super far from the centre of Phuket (about an hours drive without traffic). I also personally disliked the restaurant. I do not think the meals were worth the money however, breakfast was nice albeit the halal options were limited. Service was decent. I think if you are looking to explore Thailand and have a wonder about the city, this is definitely not the hotel for you. Bike rides were fun.

“A stunning resort – absolutely recommended”

Meliá Phuket Mai Khao is a truly beautiful resort and an absolute recommendation. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into the signature Meliá vibe — everything is perfectly arranged, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. We stayed in a Private Pool Villa, which was wonderful. The photos make the room look smaller than it actually is; in reality, the space is spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing in privacy. The resort also offers cabanas by the main pool for rent, and booking one at least once during your stay is definitely worth it — it adds an extra touch of luxury to your day. The restaurants are excellent, with delicious dishes and warm service. We also visited the spa twice, and both treatments were fantastic. The therapists were highly professional, and we left feeling completely refreshed and renewed. A very small downside — if you can even call it that — is that our villa in section E was usually cleaned around 4–5 pm, which happened to be the time we were often back in the room after a day out or at the pool. Not a major issue, just something to be aware of. Overall, Meliá Phuket Mai Khao exceeded our expectations and made our stay truly memorable. We would return in a heartbeat!
