Paradise truly exists – and it’s here
We are currently staying at Paradise Resort Koh Yao Noi for the second time during our Thailand trip, and after only two days back here, we can honestly say: this place is paradise on earth.
Reaching the resort already feels like the beginning of something special. The drive from the pier takes around 30–40 minutes along a very remote, adventurous road. Once you arrive at the security checkpoint, you are welcomed and picked up by a golf buggy that takes you through a breathtaking, lush landscape up into the resort. From that moment on, you know you’ve arrived somewhere extraordinary.
The resort is beautifully built into the hillside, with terraced pathways leading to charming bungalows, cottages and villas, some with private pools, some without. Everywhere you look, you are surrounded by nature – and then suddenly, the view opens up to the sea. The beach and ocean views are simply stunning, a postcard-perfect Thai scenery.
The service is flawless. Everything is incredibly well organized, thoughtful and smooth. Upon arrival, you are connected via WhatsApp/App, through which absolutely everything can be arranged – room service, massages, spa treatments, activities or information. It’s digital, effortless and extremely personal at the same time.
There is a relaxed beach bar serving delicious food and all the drinks you could wish for – delivered right to your sunbed. In the evenings, you can choose between two restaurants: one Italian-style restaurant and another offering fresh bread, local dishes and occasional barbecues. There’s a campfire area, happy hour gatherings, and a relaxed, social but never intrusive atmosphere.
What truly sets this place apart is the staff. They are genuinely warm, attentive and kind. Small surprises during the day, thoughtful gestures, always a smile – they make everything possible and make you feel deeply welcome.
And despite the luxury, the atmosphere is wonderfully down to earth. The guests are relaxed, respectful and diverse: families, couples, children, older guests, people from all over the world. The energy here is calm, positive and harmonious.
The resort offers private boat transfers to Phuket, kayaking, swimming to a small pier in the sea, and the magic of tides that constantly change the scenery. There is yoga, spa, massages, pedicure, manicure – everything you could want, without ever feeling overwhelming.
We stayed in three different accommodations:
• a Studio Cottage (spacious, beautifully designed, with an outdoor shower that can be closed – very special),
• a Beachfront Pool Villa with private beds, a large pool, outdoor area and bar, generous interiors and a stunning bathroom,
• and finally a Superior Studio with Pool higher up the hill, hidden, peaceful and offering an incredible panoramic view.
After three weeks of traveling through Thailand, we can honestly say: the days spent here grounded us more than anywhere else. This is not just a resort – it’s a feeling, a state of calm, a true escape.
Paradise Resort truly lives up to its name.
Highly recommended. Unforgettable. We will be back.
