We spent a wonderful week at Little Shore Khao Lak, staying in an Ocean View Suite overlooking the Andaman sea, complete with our own private plunge pool. The room was exceptionally well appointed, spacious, and beautifully designed, no detail was missed — a true luxury retreat.
Check-in was professional , warm and welcoming.
The facilities throughout the resort were equally impressive. The gym was modern and well equipped, and the main pool was a standout, featuring ocean-front views, comfortable day beds, and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a vast selection of high-quality options. Barista-made coffee and a fresh juice bar added a lovely touch and set the tone for the day.
We didn’t dine in the resort for dinner, simply because we are the type to get out and about and explore but speaking with other guests I’m confident their dinner restaurants reflect the same quality and service we experienced daily at breakfast.
The golf cart service was another great touch, especially for trips from the porte cochère to the main street, where there’s easy access to restaurants, bars, and shops.
** It’s only a short trip and easy walk but catching the cart was all about interacting with the staff (see below)
A special mention must go to the staff, who truly made our stay memorable. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and attentive, always going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. In particular, Popeye (Resort Manager), but in our opinion, Nescafé, Tea, Tom and especially Jerry stood out for their exceptional service, warm hospitality, and genuine care. This team manned to concierge desk and drove the golf carts, their attention to detail and welcoming manner made a real difference and perfectly reflected the high standards of the resort.
As a bonus you can utilise the amenities, pool etc at their sister resort The Sands, which is directly next door, but we didn’t feel it was necessary to leave The Little Shore.
Mind you, if there’s one small area for improvement, it would be the pool bar service, which could have been a little quicker and more attentive at peak times.
Overall, Little Shore Khao Lak delivered an outstanding stay and exceeded our expectations. A beautifully run resort with excellent service, stunning views, and thoughtful details throughout.
