We booked an 8-night stay at Katathani Phuket Beach Resort with our family of four, and it's been an outstanding experience from start to finish.
We'd originally booked two oceanfront suites, and on arrival found those rooms were still being finished as part of the resort's ongoing renovations. Rather than this being a hassle, the team turned it into a real highlight of the trip, moving us to a stunning family villa at The Shore Katathani, the resort's sister property next door. The villa was stunning, spacious, and beautifully appointed. The staff handled the whole situation with warmth and genuine care, checking in regularly to make sure we were comfortable.
Beyond the accommodation, everything about the Shore and the whole Katathani resort has been first class. The grounds, beachfront and views are gorgeous, the pools and facilities immaculate, and every restaurant we tried served excellent food - fresh, well-presented, and with enough variety across the resort that we never felt like we were repeating ourselves.
The Param Para Thai restaurant at the Shore was a surprise highlight - a lovely, comfortable dining room, great service and beautifully presented unique local dishes. If you're staying here you don't want to miss it.
Service throughout has been a standout - genuinely friendly, proactive, and consistent across every department we interacted with, from housekeeping to the front desk to the restaurant teams.
We can't recommend The Shore and Katathani highly enough for families or couples looking for a resort that combines beautiful surroundings with genuinely excellent, personal service. Thanks for a wonderful, memorable stay. We can't wait for our next visit!
