Complimentary water taxis or shuttle buses to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay and Citywalk™. “Fab night stay for express pass benefits”

Booked for 1 night to benefit for the 1 day express passes. Rooms are stunning and large comfy beds. Walking distance to parks a bonus or boat for tired legs, Starbucks in the foyer is a great addition. Only used the jacuzzi but pools looked great. I would book again for express benefits for sure!

Booked 1 night and received express passes to Universal parks for 2 days. Although it was quite expensive, the perk of express passes balanced out costs overall due to time, especially since we had travelled from Asia. Pros: The location is awesome and proximity to parks made it easy choice safety wise. We only used the water transfers, but the queue is long, especially at night. Lovely tropical vibes. Cons: Room and bathroom was small, had difficulty managing our bags and moving around.

Having stayed at The Portofino Hotel at Universal on numerous occasions we decided to try Royal Pacific, that was the wrong decision, although they are similar priced hotels the RP is no way in the same rating. The only person who deserved praise was the lady who cleaned our room, bar staff ignored you and the car parking was a rip off, 37$ a night to self park and 47$ a night for valet parking on top of that everywhere you went in the hotel and Universal Park restaurants and bars was a 18 to 28% tip charge, you don’t decide what to tip they tell you and on top of their food prices it soon puts the bill up. The hotel is not worthy of its star rating based on previous hotels I have stayed at this is a 3 star at best, the rooms are basic bed and table and chairs, over bath showers and doesn’t really reflect the hotel theme, lights don’t work and request to fix went on deaf ears. The pool although big is a paddling pool and water games and loads of balls are allowed and guests are allowed to put their towels on the pool beds and go off to the parks for the day limiting use by those who want to relax and get a few rays by the limited number of beds available. To be honest not worth the money I would not stay there again, but give it a go if you must
