“Stay elsewhere”

We would not recommend this resort nor would we come back. There are other options we could recommend instead, specifically Baker’s Cay, IslaBella, The Islander, CheecaLodge (fo adult), to name a few. Don’t spend your money here at Three Waters. We booked months in advance a 2-bedroom suite with an early check-in, which I confirmed multiple times. We planned our entire day around that check-in. Once we arrived, they said our room was no longer available and they were trying to downgrade us. We were told we could have two separate small rooms instead, which would not work for a family with two kids and a small dog. We were also told we would not be able to check-in early as we were originally told. They kept telling us to wait around and they would let us know if our room situation could get fixed. I had to finally go ask at 4pm after sitting around with all of our suitcases (they did not offer to hold anything for us). Once we finally got checked in, we were not told the elevator was out of service for the entire week. We were on the 5th floor (second to last from the top). We had to carry everything up and down all the flights of stairs. We were not given help from the resort. The elevator is still out of service, just FYI! The rooms have a horrible sewage smell that permeates from the toilets or bathroom fans (we couldn’t tell exactly where it comes from, but it is strong and fills the room). The tv did not work, which we didn’t even bother with much since we did not want to even be in the room much, but still. The umbrellas at the pool are not well secured. One went flying into the pool where kids were swimming. Pretty terrifying. The resort looks great in pictures, but upon arrival it does not have the same vibe at all. It’s much smaller than we expected. The rooms still need more updating than just what they’ve done. The towels at the pool are stained with chocolate ice cream on so many of them. I could go on and on, but basically we wouldn’t suggest this resort especially NOT for the price! We would much rather go back to Beaches in Turks and Caicos or somewhere much more upscale for the same price.

“Relaxing Gem in Islamorada”

Very relaxing time at Three Waters Resort - We needed that break, felt like we were in the Caribbeans. We stayed in the Cove and had an Oceanview. Love the private balcony! Food - Breakfast and dinner was great and the staff was very pleasant. Room was clean, we didn't hear the road traffic. | Note: the free kayaks/canoes/paddle boats can be check out only from 8 am to 5 pm, so be aware.

Stayed for a few days to celebrate granddaughter’s birthday. Everything was first class. The employees were so helpful and friendly. The resort itself was clean, and the food was great. Would go back for sure.
