Best resort we’ve ever stayed in the US. Service is top notch and food is really decent. At Dry Rocks Restaurants ask for Kobe at the bar. He will guide you through every plate and drink you may not even think of.

We booked a waterfront suite (Hammock Wing) for our 4 year wedding anniversary. We got room 434. The room was ok. Barely waterfront because you have overgrown trees blocking the ocean. The bathroom had visible mold and no updates clearly had been done. On night 2 being that this is a family facility, it was 11pm and there was a screaming child slamming doors, throwing stuff against a wall, and having the most outrageous temper tantrum we have ever heard. We have a 5 year old and we love children but this was insane. For 45 minutes we listened to this in hopes the parents would assess the situation, which they didn’t. We called down to the front desk and they apologized and said the best they could do was send security and monitor the situation and they switch our rooms. Great option right? Wrong! For another 15 minutes we heard the same screaming and tornado noise, I then went downstairs to address the situation now midnight and the front desk stated I’ll put you in the Coconut Wing room 356, better non obstructed view. We decided to stay in our current room and switch in the morning. The next morning about 8am we went downstairs to be told that she made an error and they oversold the rooms and that room was not available but they had room 414 in Hammock Wing available. I said so what would have happened last night? We would have walked in on someone else? The hotel has horrible customer service. 20% gratuity is included on everything so you would think the customer service would be absolutely incredible, but the truth is everyone is walking around using FaceTime, ignoring the guests as they already know they are getting a 20% tip. I would not recommend this place as this ruined our anniversary! From waiting in the lobby for our new room for over 4 hours, the horrible service, the overpriced food and drinks. Not 5 star, maybe a 2 star at best or 1.5 at best. The best thing about it. The beach, the weather but you can get that anywhere in Key Largo. Trust me the screaming kids and the parents that are too busy with their mommy juice and lack of parenting should just leave their kids at home if they’re not going to watch them. Luxury resort?
