“Great 20th anniversary”

Dee at the Frint Desk upgraded me to a beautiful oceanfront room with a balcony for my 20th anniversary. There is a reason I keep returning. Love the beach, mangroves, peace & quiet. The staff is very accommodating: good food & you can’t beat relaxing on the mattresses on the calm gulf beach😊

“Shop around before staying here”

Honestly very disappointed with this hotel. We booked a “suite” that was in the section of the resort that was under construction. Jackhammering from 9am - 5:30 pm every single day. While I understand these resorts need to renovate, why not shut down the specific side of the resort being worked on? We were in the middle of a construction site. Pre ordered a bottle of champagne to the room. Never showed up. Called and called and finally came 2 hrs later. Mosquitoes were unreal. I was outside in shorts for maybe 4-5 hours and had over 30 bites. It wasn’t even worth being outside day or night. Room was clean but overall just wasn’t impressed for the money we spent on a “suite”. We ended up leaving a day earlier and stayed in Miami which for the same money we got pampered and treated like royalty. My wife and I travel a lot. I would just recommend shopping around before deciding on a resort in Key Largo. Definitely not a bad spot, I just simply think for the price you can do so much better.

We supposed to have nice and peaceful stay and instead we got pneumatic hammer noises and other construction noises, very infuriating
