The first island you’ll hit as you drive through the keys is Key Largo, most famous for it’s watersports with reef snorkelling, diving, and glass bottom boat tours out of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park as must-do activities. Neighbouring the state park you’ll find Playa Largo set on 14.5 acres of secluded shoreline, providing your own piece of paradise to stay whilst exploring this part of Florida’s famous archipalageo. The private beach is the only thing between you and the sparkling waters of Florida Bay, where you can enjoy a range of watersports right from the hotel as well as venturing out to nearby attractions (of which there are plenty). There is a laid-back feel to the resort, perfectly in keeping with the area, but that doesn’t stop the facilities and service being up to standard. From a beach shack restaurant to a ceviche bar, all tastebuds are catered for, La Marea is a particularly great choice for locally sourced seafood and freshly handmade artisan breads and pizzas. When you’re seeking serenity after all the activity, book in at Ocean Spa where you can try specially formulated scrubs using coffee grounds, sugar, and salt. The top class service doesn’t end when you get to your room, an iPad is on hand to offer on-demand services to ensure your stay is up to scratch.

Beautiful hotel, amazing lobby and great service staff at the entrance and desk. Had a bay view room which was clean, modern and spacious with a balcony. Very pleased. The quality of the food on property was good to very good. Loved all meals there where at most hotels I never eat on property.
Pool service was my only complaint. On Tuesday we had Edwin and he was amazing, fast, attentive and just a joy to have. Wednesday and Thursday the pool wait staff were slow, disinterested often being on thier cell phones leaning up against a gate or bar. On Tuesday we had Jean as. Bar tender and again he was amazing. Caring, personal and took great pride in serving amazing tasting and looking cocktails. Wednesday and Thursday the drinks were good but a step down.
All and all, it was a great place to stay, eat and drink. I will be back and will bring friends with me to share this great hotel.

Nice property. Very good service. The breakfast staff of Kadeasha and Annette was exceptional. They were attentiveness, extremely delightful, very polite and genuine.
We sat at the Sand Bar near the pool. Great conversation with staff. Tyler made a killer Dirty Monkey adding peanut butter and coconut liqueurs. A must have!
The pool and beach area have an incredible vibe. Edwin went above and beyond serving us by the pool. Sol by the Sea was an amazing experience that everyone should experience before leaving the resorts. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming.
