We upgraded to a balcony room facing the pool for $55 a day upon check in, which I wouldn't have done in retrospect because the balcony was so small you couldn't really comfortably sit out there. The chairs were tiny little metal chairs that looked more suitable for children.
The room was clean and comfortable with a sofa and desk. No complaints about the room at all.
The service was below average. With the exception of the shuttle drivers (who were all friendly) every employee we interacted with acted like we were inconveniencing them. We aren't high maintenance people - we weren't asking over the top questions or asking for over the top things. I just left every interaction thinking - well so sorry for bothering you!!!
The service in the restaurant was EXTREMELY slow and insanely expensive.
The location was pretty far from the action, but the shuttle was reliable and free.
Pool area is fantastic and relaxing. We really enjoyed hanging out at the pool.

Sooo relaxing! Comfy beds. Beautiful cigar bar with gorgeous sunset views. Pool bar is fantastic. Shuttles to down town run regularly and on time. Also used the airport shuttle. Staff was beyond lovely and so attentive. Be warned, they are no longer an adults only resort. We will be back!

Amazing stay in a great hotel. Rooms were clean, pool area was amazing and easy parking available. Joe & Chris were extremely helpful on reception! We used the shuttle into the main town which was a really good experience. We will definitely stay here again!

I stayed at havana cabana with a couple of my friends and while the accommodations were comfortable enough for the price, what truly set the experience apart was the staff. shout out to the bartender kosta. my picky friend wanted him specifically to make her drinks.
