My husband and I went to Little Palm Island to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was not the stay we hoped it would be. There were many issues starting with the staff not warning us about the no-see-ums and mosquitos at dinner. Someone should have said bug spray is a must if you are dining outside at dinner. My husband and were eaten alive it was horrible but we learned our lesson, No one showed us how anything worked in the room. There were MANY issues and mishaps with food, orders being incorrect, hair in the food, no spoon when ordering soup and having to ask for one, no spoon when ordering coffee. There was no one taking orders at the pool, or even giving out menu's. We had to hunt menus down. No one offered us refills or checked on us while at the pool either. Each time you needed something you had to flag someone down which was not easy. My husband made requests to have our bags picked up for checkout and had written confirmation of a time they would be by to pick up the bags and no one showed up. So we had to take our bags all the way to the dock for checkout. Also we let everyone know it was our anniversary and we never got a candle or anything. Even chain restaurants give you a candle when you order dessert. We got nothing... For the price of the room per night the service needs to be immaculate. This was not that. In fact it was not up to par with even 4 star resorts we have stayed it. The staff is very friendly but the attention to detail is not good.

Perfect romantic getaway

Perfect romantic getaway. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here and made the right choice. Employees are fantastic, room was gorgeous, and the grounds were perfect. We could have done more but vegged out instead. Food and wine offerings were also excellent.

They finally brought first course halfway through the entree (which was cold). Definitely not worth the price, very disappointed!!

A bucket list trip. Romantic, relaxing getaway. Felt like we were a million miles away. The seaplane is a must. Every need was immediately met by the staff. 10 out of 10 experience. Don’t forget the sunset cruise or dining on the beach. You will “Get Lost” on this trip.
