The hotel

No TV’s. No phones. Just the two of you. Sound like complete bliss? That’s what you’ll find at the Little Palm Island Resort and Spa. Arrive by seaplane or private boat to this island just off the Keys, and you’ll be greeted with a refreshing cocktail at the Shore Station, before heading to your luxury bungalow to enjoy a quiet, romantic break. The lush private island is dotted with tropical scenery and exotic wildlife, with your thatched roof bungalows nestled in between. Enjoy the copper bath on your private balcony, order some room service, or head to the pool bar to make friends – whatever takes your fancy! Of course, there is WiFi, and a TV in the main room for any essential events, but ringing phones are taboo here, so you can enjoy your trip in peace.

Tucked offshore of Little Torch Key at mile marker 28.5, accessible by a 15 minute motor launch transfer. Approximately 3-hour drive from Miami.

30 thatched roof bungalow suites, inspired by British West Indies design. All with ocean views, air conditioning, indoor and outdoor shower, separate bath tub, private furnished deck, coffee/tea making facilities, and mini bar* (complimentary soft drinks). All rooms sleep maximum 2 adults.

Island Escape Suites are approximately 550sq ft, within living area and king-size bed.

Island Romance Suite are approximately 550sq ft with an outdoor copper tub, exclusive sand beach with fire pit, and a separate living room.

Island Grand Suites are approximately 1,000sq ft, with an outdoor sopper tub, exclusive sand beach with fire pit, separate living room, two bathrooms and a four poster bed. 

Island Premier Suites are approximately 1,020sq ft, with an outdoor sopper tub, exclusive sand beach with fire pit, separate living room, two bathrooms and a four poster bed.

The Dining Room (Award-winning steak and seafood; lunch and dinner. Dress code: collared shirts for men. shoes must be worn. Swimsuits are not permitted). The Monkey Hut (outdoor area with live music in the evenings). Well- we certainly lived up to their motto, "Get Lost", and got lost in each other, on Little Palm. Upon boarding the Truman, a stunning vessel and then arriving onto the island, we felt as if we transcended into another world. The grounds in its entirety including our hut was immaculate. The staff could not be more accommodating and friendly. The cuisine was some of the best we have ever experienced. The ambiance and service both outside dining and on the beach were amazing with the most incredible sunsets. They set up a fan to blow directly on us to help with heat and bugs. Bring repellent wipes, they provide spray as well at the resort but it wasn't a huge problem at all. The pool and bar was so nice and relaxing, swimming and hearing the music under water was a very cool touch. Rolando is an awesome guy and he will help you out with anything you may need getting around the water or just hanging poolside. We even took one of their Boston whalers out for a few ours and stopped by an uninhabited island which was a cool spot with many others anchoring down, walking/swimming up and just hanging out. One minor issue I will say is that if you plan to swim in the clear beautiful waters, while they have a designated beach/"swimming area", it is not realistic, there is so much sargassum this time of year; you would have to walk pretty far out with water shoes to maybe the sandbars to sit in the water. Sargassum emits an odor as well (they do their best to keep it to a minimum). There is so much offered at this majestic place but I will not spoil all of the little surprises~ Our time here gave us the opportunity to spend our ten year wedding anniversary in an elevated state of connection and we are blessed that we were able to do so. It is rare to find such serene and private accommodations as well as having an unmatched level of hospitality across all areas. Unbelievable! Customer service was five-star! The resort was peaceful and beautiful. Only 30 bungalows kept it a boutique feel and lent itself to a romantic, unplugged experience.
