The hotel

No TV’s. No phones. Just the two of you. Sound like complete bliss? That’s what you’ll find at the Little Palm Island Resort and Spa. Arrive by seaplane or private boat to this island just off the Keys, and you’ll be greeted with a refreshing cocktail at the Shore Station, before heading to your luxury bungalow to enjoy a quiet, romantic break. The lush private island is dotted with tropical scenery and exotic wildlife, with your thatched roof bungalows nestled in between. Enjoy the copper bath on your private balcony, order some room service, or head to the pool bar to make friends – whatever takes your fancy! Of course, there is WiFi, and a TV in the main room for any essential events, but ringing phones are taboo here, so you can enjoy your trip in peace.

Tucked offshore of Little Torch Key at mile marker 28.5, accessible by a 15 minute motor launch transfer. Approximately 3-hour drive from Miami.

Hotel information

30 thatched roof bungalow suites, inspired by British West Indies design. All with ocean views, air conditioning, indoor and outdoor shower, separate bath tub, private furnished deck, coffee/tea making facilities, and mini bar* (complimentary soft drinks). All rooms sleep maximum 2 adults.

Island Escape Suites are approximately 550sq ft, within living area and king-size bed.

Island Romance Suite are approximately 550sq ft with an outdoor copper tub, exclusive sand beach with fire pit, and a separate living room.

Island Grand Suites are approximately 1,000sq ft, with an outdoor sopper tub, exclusive sand beach with fire pit, separate living room, two bathrooms and a four poster bed. 

Island Premier Suites are approximately 1,020sq ft, with an outdoor sopper tub, exclusive sand beach with fire pit, separate living room, two bathrooms and a four poster bed.

The Dining Room (Award-winning steak and seafood; lunch and dinner. Dress code: collared shirts for men. shoes must be worn. Swimsuits are not permitted). The Monkey Hut (outdoor area with live music in the evenings). Palapa Bar (by the pool).Lagoon-style pool, SpaTerre with a range of treatments*, healing and meditative classes from yoga to reiki, lifesize chess, marina with daily trips to Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary, Great White Heron Wildlife Refuge and Key West Old Town. Complimentary motor yacht service to and from Little Torch Key are included within set hours (a fee may occur outside of these hours). Complimentary parking.

A bucket list trip. Romantic, relaxing getaway. Felt like we were a million miles away. The seaplane is a must. Every need was immediately met by the staff. 10 out of 10 experience. Don’t forget the sunset cruise or dining on the beach. You will “Get Lost” on this trip.

The Truman transports you to another place in time...It is like you arrived on a remote Panamanian island with all of the modern conveniences, and a level of service that is unparalleled. The staff acts as if there is nothing too much to ask and is eager to please you. They make you feel like you own the place! My wife and I stayed there with 5 other couple for a birthday weekend event. Service was excellent, food was mediocre, staff were very friendly and views from our villa were amazing. We used the copper tub in our terrace as frequently as we could, sitting in the tub and enjoying the views of the crystal clear water of Florida.

This hotel is absolutely outstanding. Peaceful and quiet island with transparent blue waters. You can go kayaking, paddle boarding, take a small boat to another island close by to picnic. The little villas are comfortable, food is amazing. Magical place.
