“Excellent Resort All Around!”

Lovely resort-grounds well maintained, sizable rooms, quality products in room - including their bedding and towels, Molton Brown product’s in bath, Nespresso coffee in room and plenty of lounging space on the resort grounds. My only complaint was the parking charge, which anyone could use. It should be included in the resort fee as it is not monitored. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area!

This was one of the worst experiences we have had at any hotel. We booked an accessible room with a roll in shower for three nights. When we arrived, the entrance for our building was blocked off by orange cone. It was raining heavily and we were forced to park and unload our luggage in the rain. Later we found that it had been blocked off to hold it four a truck pulling a trailer full of luggage for a high school football team. That truck and trailer blocked the entrance for the entire time we were in the hotel. The first morning, I got up to take a chower. After getting on the bench in the roll in shower, I fell to the floor when the entire shower bench came off the wall dropping me to the shower floor. After managing to get up from the floor, I tried to call the front desk to report it and have someone come and either fix the shower bench or remove it. After going three the automated answering system four times, I finally got a live person who responded to my story by simply saying "That's too bad". I asked them to send some to the room, no one came. After receiving no help, we bought a shower bench at Home Depot so that I could get a shower. Later that afternoon, I tried again to get someone up to fix the bench or remove it from the shower, again no one came up. I called a third time and after going through the automated call system four time, I got a person who actually sent some to remove the broken bench, no attempt to repair it. We also tried to order coffe from Room Service after waiting an hour I called the front desk, again went through 5 cycles in the automated call system and finally got someone who siad I will have someone bring it up. At no time did anyone ask if I was injured from the fall and the inability to reach a live body when calling was very frustrating. We are frequent visitors to the Florida Keys and will never stay here again!
