Having undergone a massive transformation, this beautifully exclusive hotel is great for adding on to a Miami or Orlando trip, for that beachside relaxation and indulgence. One iconic resort, made up of 5 distinct hotels, the Baca Raton offers a variety of accommodations from beachfront suites to bungalows hidden away in the gardens. From poolside relaxation to thrilling waterfront adventure, there are a host of activities on offer, not least the ‘extraordinaty experiences’ such as private boat trips, sunset dining, or for golf enthusiasts, ‘The Course Is Yours’, which closes off the 18-hole championship course for you to enjoy exclusively, complete with branded apparel and sunset drinks to round off the day. Whilst there is a VIP feel to the resort, it’s great for any ages. The Banyan bunch kids club offers a fantastic activity schedule for the little ones, whilst the splash pad and 5-story water slides offer perfect respite for them on a hot day in the Sunshine state. Whilst they’re entertained, be sure to book in for a treatment at Spa Palerma, a 50,000sq ft secluded oasis offering indulgent experiences such as the Diamond Facial and Gemstone Body Ritual. However you choose to spend your day here, there are plenty of options when it comes to staying fed and hydrated, with 10 restaurants, bars ,and cafes serving up everything from grab and go items to fine dining.

Cloister (the original hotel with grand architecture, close to the golf club, hosting 294 guest rooms and suties)
Yacht Club (adults-only, all-suite hotel on the lakefront, with 112 rooms)
Tower (featuring 225 rooms with flexible configurations, across 27 floors, offering elevated views)
Bungalows (hideaway featuring 58 suites with additional space, amenities, and private pools).

All rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi access, beach bar and flip flops, Nespresso coffee maker, refillable water bottles, mini bar*, and Molton Brown bathroom amenities.

Cloister Guestrooms with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Magnificent as usual. My parents have been member since 2004 and have been coming here since I have been eight years old. I had my two adult children and husband at the beach resort and it was absolutely fantastic. Thank you for always making it a wonderful place

I was here for a work conference when the hotel was deluged by an unexpected storm which dropped a 100 year flood worth of water overwhelming the property and flooding the lobby among other damage. It is in these serious scenarios when a hotel either collapses under the strain or the staff shine and work together. I have to say this staff was resilient. They worked tirelessly to recover the property, ensure guests were safe and somehow remained positive throughout. Out of respect for the hotel and their staff I will not share photos of the damage. Most of it was cleaned within a day or two. Amazing.

The Boca Raton Resort is a stunning, historic property with excellent dining options. Our first 24 hours were very promising: the staff at the Tower front desk were attentive, our server Michael was exceptional, and even a new poolside waiter delivered outstanding service. At that point, I truly thought this would become my new favorite hotel in South Florida. Unfortunately, our experience quickly shifted. Outside of the Tower, service quality was highly inconsistent—at best 50/50. The most concerning incident occurred while waiting for the hotel’s ferry during an approaching storm. A ferry staff member addressed the line in an aggressive and unprofessional manner, shouting at guests who simply sought clarification. When my wife politely asked his name, he began yelling at her repeatedly in front of dozens of other guests. This not only created confusion for those waiting but also left many unsure of how to return to the main property. I escalated the issue to management and was told it would be addressed, yet despite following up several times, I never received an update or resolution. The following day, another poolside staff member openly rolled his eyes at a simple request for refills for our children, then disappeared without returning. Experiences like these—contrasting so sharply with the excellent service we initially received—made it clear that the resort struggles with consistency and accountability. It’s worth noting that gratuities are automatically included, which may contribute to the lack of attentiveness we experienced outside the Tower. While the property itself is beautiful and historic, with great food and ambiance, the service fell far below expectations for a hotel of this caliber. My recommendation: enjoy the architecture and perhaps dine on-site, but think carefully before booking an overnight stay if service quality matters to you.
