The hotel

Whether it’s a relaxing break after a week in Orlando’s theme parks you’re after, or a perfect spot either side of your Caribbean cruise, Hilton Cocoa Beach is an ideal option to add on to your trip for a few nights of chilling out on the waterfront. The oceanfront pool deck is largest on the Space Coast, and accompanied by the Tiki bar offer up the chance to relax and unwind in the sun with a cocktail in hand, overlooking the sparkling Atlantic. If you’re still after something more to occupy the family; the hotel is just minutes from Kennedy Space Centre to keep the kids both educated and entertained. Water sports including surfing, boogie boarding and snorkelling. Kid-sized boogie boards are also available as well as surfing lessons for all ages and skill ratings. Alternatively, grab some team mates and get stuck into a game of volleyball. Salt Restaurant overlooks the ocean and is a favourite hotspot for seafood, steaks and traditional fare. Before you settle there for the evening, however, enjoy a drink special in Longboards Tiki Beach Grille, listening to some live music perhaps. In the Salt Lounge you can catch up on all the latest news from NASA and, if your holiday coincides with a rocket launch, just head outside — it’ll be easily visible from the beach!

The pool small and the beach is shared with non hotel guests and is adjacent to a public beach No restaurant was available Sunday and Monday, only the pool cafe. The stay would have been fine had it not been for the very poor customer relations. WARNING: we had opted for a late check out (2 pm) upgrade for $ 29. The confirmation we received said we should inquire at check in if available but in the same email it said we would be informed whether it haas or not. Nobody said anything so we assumed everything was ok. At 2 pm as we were about to leave the room, a phone call informed us that we would be charged for late check out in the amount of $ 89 plus taxes. It need up being about $ 156. When we received an email from Mr Gora, the asst. mgr. asking how the stay had been, wetold him about the charge expecting him to reply. He never replied. Ours had been a genuine misunderstanding and it would have been acceptable being charge the $ 29 but not what we have been charged. Bad customer relations, also because we would have come back for weekends getaways but never again. This left a very bad taste in our mouths. Read less

We used Lyft substantially whilst staying and no issues picking up outside hotel each time. I would say it’s 25-30 minutes from the port and we also did Kennedy which was again 30 minutes away roughly. I enjoyed our short stay and would probably stay again. Read less

I called and talked to a guy who was extremely rude and confrontational. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Read less
