Whether it’s a relaxing break after a week in Orlando’s theme parks you’re after, or a perfect spot either side of your Caribbean cruise, Hilton Cocoa Beach is an ideal option to add on to your trip for a few nights of chilling out on the waterfront. The oceanfront pool deck is largest on the Space Coast, and accompanied by the Tiki bar offer up the chance to relax and unwind in the sun with a cocktail in hand, overlooking the sparkling Atlantic. If you’re still after something more to occupy the family; the hotel is just minutes from Kennedy Space Centre to keep the kids both educated and entertained. Water sports including surfing, boogie boarding and snorkelling. Kid-sized boogie boards are also available as well as surfing lessons for all ages and skill ratings. Alternatively, grab some team mates and get stuck into a game of volleyball. Salt Restaurant overlooks the ocean and is a favourite hotspot for seafood, steaks and traditional fare. Before you settle there for the evening, however, enjoy a drink special in Longboards Tiki Beach Grille, listening to some live music perhaps. In the Salt Lounge you can catch up on all the latest news from NASA and, if your holiday coincides with a rocket launch, just head outside — it’ll be easily visible from the beach!

Smooth Check-In, Nice Outdoor Space, but Outdoor Restaurant Service Needs Improvement

Our check-in experience was quick and hassle-free, which set a positive tone initially. The outdoor area is beautifully maintained, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing beach toys for children to borrow—such a great idea!
However, our room was located directly in front of the elevators, which made it noisy and less private than we had hoped. The pool area also felt overcrowded, with limited seating and shade. Heated water would be a welcome improvement, especially for families with young children. Glad they made repairs in the ice cream area which had a horrible sewer smell! Needless to say, we consumed nothing.
The most disappointing part of our stay was the service at the outdoor restaurant. Staff seemed disengaged and lacked urgency. We were not greeted or acknowledged upon arrival, and servers were chatting in a nearby hut while we waited at our table. When we shared our concerns with the manager, the response was dismissive and defensive, which was disheartening.
There’s a lot of potential here, and with more attention to guest service and comfort, this could be a truly exceptional experience.
