The hotel

Whether it’s a relaxing break after a week in Orlando’s theme parks you’re after, or a perfect spot either side of your Caribbean cruise, Hilton Cocoa Beach is an ideal option to add on to your trip for a few nights of chilling out on the waterfront. The oceanfront pool deck is largest on the Space Coast, and accompanied by the Tiki bar offer up the chance to relax and unwind in the sun with a cocktail in hand, overlooking the sparkling Atlantic. If you’re still after something more to occupy the family; the hotel is just minutes from Kennedy Space Centre to keep the kids both educated and entertained. Water sports including surfing, boogie boarding and snorkelling. Kid-sized boogie boards are also available as well as surfing lessons for all ages and skill ratings. Alternatively, grab some team mates and get stuck into a game of volleyball. Salt Restaurant overlooks the ocean and is a favourite hotspot for seafood, steaks and traditional fare. Before you settle there for the evening, however, enjoy a drink special in Longboards Tiki Beach Grille, listening to some live music perhaps. In the Salt Lounge you can catch up on all the latest news from NASA and, if your holiday coincides with a rocket launch, just head outside — it’ll be easily visible from the beach!

We used Lyft substantially whilst staying and no issues picking up outside hotel each time. I would say it’s 25-30 minutes from the port and we also did Kennedy which was again 30 minutes away roughly. I enjoyed our short stay and would probably stay again. Read less

I called and talked to a guy who was extremely rude and confrontational. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Read less

In late April 2025 I had an opportunity to spend a few days to unwind in Cocoa Beach, FL. The Hilton Cocoa Beach is my favorite place to stay on the Space Coast, and I have reviewed it after several previous trips. The Hilton is my favorite for a few specific reasons. First, the hotel is right on the beach and offers superb views of launches from Cape Canaveral. Second, the Longboards Tiki Bar is a fantastic place to sit and enjoy frozen drinks and soft ocean breezes, and is immediately adjacent to the hotel. This visit offered the same satisfying combination of excitement and relaxation. On the first night, after enjoying a “Hurricane Mai Tai” at Longboards, I caught a night launch by walking down the boardwalk towards the beach with dozens of other enthusiasts and vacationers. We all watched and cheered as the SpaceX rocket roared into the sky accompanied by several sonic booms! As much as I enjoyed the show, the next few days were even better. Aside from a trip to Kennedy Space Center, the Longboards Tiki Bar retained its traditional status as “relaxation central”! Being able to sit under the thatched roof and sip boat drinks can be a great way to detach and decompress. They also had live entertainment on Friday and Saturday during my stay. These were two different solo acts playing guitar and both had a great vibe. Having live music really makes for a fun crowd too. The staff is really what makes Longboards so consistent. The bartenders are attentive and friendly. On this trip, I chose to sit at the tables and as chance would have it I had Angela as my waitress all three nights. Not only was she energetic and witty, her timing and anticipation always hit the mark. Her upbeat, fun loving personality made my experience a real pleasure! So heads up, Hilton management - Angela is a star! On a side note - if you happen to drive a Tesla or other electric vehicle. There are two chargers right in front of the hotel entrance with J1772 connectors, so most any EV can charge easily. Tesla owners - be sure to bring your J1772 adapters to use these chargers. It’s easy to recommend the Hilton Cocoa Beach and Longboards Tiki Bar. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Read less

Heating cooling was not working. Called reception. Within 5 minutes the technician Jae was there for the rescue. I really didn't want to switch my phenomenal beach view room and under 15 minutes he fixed it and taught me how to navigate. Excellent service and kindness! Grateful!
