Awesome hotel directly on the ocean! Shannon in the Starlite Restaurant was amazing not only with the kids but extremely knowledgeable about local events and activities!

The location is excellent. Staff was friendly, helpful, and respectful, and everyone really seemed to enjoy working at the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The only issue was that the AC unit was extremely loud when it turned on (it quieted down after a few minutes to a normal level). It was funny watching tv and having to turn the volume up and down as the machine turned on and off. The room was on the top floor, so we opted to keep the view (nice on both sides) instead of asking for a different one. We paid to rent chairs and an umbrella on the beach, but we could charge it to the room, which was more convenient than having to carry cash. Warning: the sand is scorching in the summer! The food and drinks from the snack bar/Starbucks and the pool bar were great. The elevators are a little small, and there is not curbside service like you would get at a resort or 4/5 star hotel. The pool is pretty small, but the deck is very spacious with lots of loungers and umbrellas, in addition to tables for eating. We swam in the ocean, so that wasn’t a big deal for us. This hotel is a little farther from the pier, which helped keep crowds down at the beach, but we were glad to have a car. I would stay again! Read less

Stayed here for one night on our way from Orlando to visit family in Jaxonville as we wanted to visit the Kennedy Space Centre. Checked in and was barely greeted. The guy at the check in desk couldn't spell our 4 letter surname. We spelt letter by letter, he misheard A for I, R for L the most obscure words for a very simple surname. We are English and he spoke English very well! We wasn't asked for our car registration and ended up with warning stickers stuck over our car with the threat of towing! You're not even given a bottle of water in your room unless you're a gold/silver/diamond member which I think is disgraceful. 2 warm bottles are left in your room at $3 each plus tax. Ive never stayed in a hotel where there isnt a courtesy bottle of water available. The air-conditioning is a giant loud ugly machine in your room. We had to turn this off as it was so loud. The bathroom is tiny, shower facilities are very old and in need of attention. The walls are paper thin so we could hear next door chatting away. I felt the cost was really high for the quality of room and service we got. The pool bar served very nice food and lovely cocktails which was the best part. The dining area inside is very nicely decorated too. Overall felt it was a very pricey stay for what we ultimately got. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Overall, expensive for the price paid. It’s far from a top hotel. Don’t waste your money!

Guest Services have terrible manners. The restaurant are out of all drinks on tap. Not much separates this place from a home2suites. The rooms are much smaller. The only bonus is that you are on the beach. If you don’t care about that save the money.
