The Shores Resort & Spa makes the most of its first-class setting on the white sands of Daytona Beach. Its oceanfront deck plays host to a pool, Jacuzzi, tiki bar, comfy cabanas, and fire cauldrons, where you can toast marshmallows for beachside s’mores as evening draws in. And the hotel’s restaurant, Azure, also exploits its location: you can enjoy its fine dining menu on its beachfront terrace. To give you the true Daytona Beach experience, this luxury spa hotel has also teamed up with recreation providers like Pure Life Surf School, giving you discounted surfing lessons, and LPGA International, offering special rates at their golf courses. And it’s paired up with The Oceans Racquet and Recreation Club, so you can enjoy facilities like tennis courts for free.

HIDDEN FEES

I was disappointed to find a $29 resort fee and tax daily on my bill. That should be mentioned prior. Also, the food at the facility was expensive, but good. They need to have information packets in the rooms regarding what is available at the hotel; such as; spa, restaurants, fitness, room service, etc.

Every time someone used the elevator, it sounded like a loud drill was running inside my room. It was very disruptive and made it difficult to relax or…
