Our room was clean, bright, comfortable and new. The bathroom was large and easy for two people to get ready at the same time. The bed was soft and comfortable, along with the feather pillows. The ocean front views were AMAZING! The beach access was so wonderful, literally only a 2 minute walk. Everyone should take advantage of the beach chairs amenity at the Ritz Carlton next door too. There are so many restaurants, shops and things to do within walking distance. We love this hotel and can't wait to come back. Special thanks to the front office staff, Scott, Cathy, Alejandra, Anirthra and Eldyce! Read less

Thirty dollars for the standard , usually free breakfast. Slick marketing will attract you as it did me but the beach can be enjoyed at so many other properties. The guest experience at this location is very poor and it begins at the front desk. First bad review for a Marriott property and hopefully my last. Mgk Read less

We had an ocean front room on the 10th floor and the views were awesome. I will list the pros and cons that are simply "my opinion". This hotel has over 100 rooms and only 2 elevators- which serves the whole hotel. There will be a wait for the elevators. Pros - the location of the hotel makes for a very short walk to the beach the lobby has plenty of seating inside and out the room has plenty of outlets and usb ports for charging multiple items it was nice to have the room serviced each day during our stay they put out lavender sachets by the elevator in the evening - take one to put under your pillow there is a beach bag and two beach towels for your use. Bathroom is large and has a great "rain" shower. There is no storage space other than sitting your items on the counter. Pool is small but the view is great and the chairs are plentiful. We ordered lunch from the pool bar and it was delivered to us at our table by the pool. Valet was prompt. Cons - Construction of a high rise that has been going on for two years now. The noise starts at 7 AM and makes relaxing at the pool difficult. This high rise also limits the view of the ocean from AC Hotel. Service charges for everything! Service fee is added and then you are taxed on that as well. We asked employees with varying answers - some said this was their tip while others said it was not. Room is very minimal. A high rise on the north side limits the view of the ocean in that direction. The room includes a bed, a couch, a table, one chair, desk/counter space. Room lacks any kind of storage. Suitcases would not fit under the bed so stored them along the wall, a narrow "hanging" area with 6 hangers which also housed the ironing board and iron. We set up the ironing board and put one of the suitcases on it (which took up valuable space in the room). There are 2 small drawers below the refrigerator. There are a few shelves but if you are short--these will not work for you. Drinks at the pool are $18 (with alcohol) and then add the service charge and tax. Lobby bar does not offer frozen drinks. You need to get those at the pool bar. The parking fee is $53 plus a parking tax ($56.71) a day. Most hotels in our area have $30-50 daily charges for valet. Plus there is a tip every time you need your car. Next trip to Florida we may just use Uber. There is a resort/destination fee of $30 a day plus a convention and tourism tax and sales tax ($34). This fee includes chairs at the beach which is about 3-5 minute walk down the street. An umbrella is an extra $30 daily. You can get a credit of the $30 with food and/or cocktails but be aware this is a one time credit per day and if you buy lunch for $20 and get dessert later ($7.75) --your invoice will only reflect a credit of the $20 and not include the $7.75. However, we questioned this at check out and they did give us a credit. Also, the breakfast is not worth $24 each which ends up being $58 because of the services fees and taxes. They tax on the service fee. We only ate breakfast the first day. After that we went to Casablanca which is next door. Eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast for $14. (Not all you can eat though). Mimosas are only $6 at Casablanca and they have live music and happy hour. I felt an obligation to order a cocktail and/or food at the hotel just to use the $30 credit. Drinks and food are overpriced. The service fees were not only at the AC Hotel. It seemed to be the norm wherever we went - restaurant, ice cream shop or anywhere else. Not sure we will stay at AC Hotel again. May try another venue. Read less

Nice property, but room doesn’t have a place for suitcases. Julian the maintenance man was very helpful fixing our door issue. Robert is a great bartender! Breakfast was cold, we couldn’t eat it on first day, went elsewhere. Would not recommend eating breakfast there
