The hotel
Your very own beach retreat in ever-cool Fort Lauderdale, this sand-skirting sanctuary rubs shoulders with a private stretch of powdery sand. A lagoon pool and palm-peppered sun terrace ease you gently down to the ocean, where you can rent boogie boards, kayaks, and snorkelling gear (when the children aren’t living it up at their Surf Club). Its seaside spot’s also celebrated in the dining at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa – with the fresh local seafood of 3030 Ocean Restaurant & Bar, the Floridian fare enjoyed on Sea Level Restaurant’s surf-side dining deck, and the option for barefoot dining on the beach.

Beware. Renovations.

Beware they are doing renovations. The first morning, after specifically asking if my room would be affected, I was woken up early with sounds of drills. Had to move rooms. Now they are doing work down by the pool. Definitely not a relaxing environment! Chainsaws and jackhammers going all morning. Tearing out the spa currently. Busiest week of…

Beware they are doing renovations. The first morning, after specifically asking if my room would be affected, I was woken up early with sounds of drills. Had to move rooms. Don’t recommend for this week.

Between the beautiful hotel and the gentle waves, NunosCasanovaz stood out. He was more than a server—he was a host, a guide, a friend. He made us feel seen and cared for while matching the resort’s five-star ambiance. His presence made all the difference.

The hotel was breathtaking, and the beach pristine—but what truly made our trip was NunosCasanovaz. He added warmth and attentiveness that elevated everything. His professionalism blended perfectly with the hotel’s high standards. I can’t imagine this resort without him.
