The hotel

Welcome to this stunning Fort Lauderdale getaway! With a prime beachfront location, stylish design, and plenty of luxury amenities, it’s the perfect spot for a road trip stop, a romantic escape, or a fun family beach holiday. Step out of the modern lobby and you're just steps from the sandy shores of central Fort Lauderdale beach, where the hotel has a beach concierge on hand to tend to your needs. You can even pick up a carefully curated picnic basket beforehand at Honey Fitz to take with you! Speaking of food and drink, you can enjoy delicious meals back at Evelyn's Restaurant, accompanied by elevated ocean views. But if you're looking for something more casual then the poolside dining is for you. Take a dip in one of the two pools on the ocean sun deck, then enjoy some fresh seafood and an innovative cocktail from the comfort of your sun bed. Make sure to check out the hotel's complimentary activities, from barista classes to tequila tasting - there's plenty of fun to be had. The same can be said for the little ones. The kid's club is also based on the sun deck, and with scavenger hunts and arts and crafts just the tip of the list, they'll be entertained for hours. You can spend hours in the spa or the salon or simply sunbathe with a good book. Whilst you're on the doorstep of central beach, why not use the complimentary bicycles to take a ride down to Las Olas Beach, and the boulevard, famous for its cuban influences, which are reflected in the many shops, bars, and restaurants that line the area.

The staff at the Four Seasons are exceptional! They go above and beyond and are so friendly and welcoming. We had to leave our daybed early due to the rain but the team couldn’t be kinder helping us transition indoors. Jonathan was incredible!! He made our day and my birthday so special! The food was fantastic as well!

I honestly can't say enough good things about my stay here. I booked through Amex FHR for my fiancée's birthday and they really went above and beyond. This was our first stay at a Four Seasons and they have created a brand loyalist. From the moment we arrived the team made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was professional and pleasant without feeling at all pretentious. Before we arrived, I had requested flowers for my fiancee's birthday. Not only was the bouquet better than what I can find from most florists, but we also got upgraded to an amazing room and they had a dessert and birthday gift waiting for my fiancée. On top of nailing every detail, they didn't charge us for any of it. A complete surprise that just made it feel like they were celebrating with us. We went to the spa where I received the best massage I have ever had. The facilities were beautiful and again, little details such as hand written welcome cards just made the experience that much nicer. The staff at the spa had the same professionalism combined with approachability that really makes this place stand out. The pool had a beautiful view overlooking the ocean and the food and drinks served there were great. Again, the people working there were attentive and kind. Finally we went to both on-site dining options, Maass and Evelyn's, and both were beautiful aesthetically and had great food and service. I've never written a review on TripAdvisor but felt compelled to after the treatment we received. The team here has blown me away, even compared with other luxury places such as the St. Regis and Park Hyatt. They delivered in every way imaginable. Thank you so much for a memorable trip, you really made it special. Read less

This is our fourth time here. This place never disappoints. We’ve been coming here the last few years to celebrate my birthday. This place made my birthday and everyday special. The warm welcoming by Paige was very much appreciated. Our room 1010 was comfortable, quiet and impeccably clean. The nightly turndown service is just a perfect way to end your day and get the most relaxing sleep ever. The room is serene and zen. Tastefully decorated and very much a home away from home feeling. Yes this place is expensive but you get what you pay for. Go ahead and splurge. Treat yourself……you won’t regret it. I want to personally thank Mr. Karpov, Paige Vincent and everyone else behind the scenes for “making it right”. MOST of all I want to thank some of our favorites who really stand out……who always remember us upon our return. Our FAVORITE pool kids Lias and Jonathon. Sorry Jonathon for calling you by the wrong name (Kevin). Thanks for always remembering us and taking such GREAT care of us poolside. Last but not least…….Shane…….. our favorite valet guy. Thanks Shane for all the conversation, great recommendations on food places. Thanks for understanding just how picky I am lol. These employees are a true asset to the Four Seasons Brand……..don’t ever let them leave…… just allow them someday to climb the proverbial corporate ladder. Luv you guys, Thx again, Mark & Kathleen Room 1010. Read less

Maass and Evelyn's are two exceptional restaurants. Accommodations are modern and spacious. All of the staff were extremely courteous. Pool are and associated bar are nice as well. It's newer than the Ritz and therefore is a better stay. Highly recommend

The hotel is situated on the beach in a row of upscale hotels. Check in was fine, but there was only one person working the desk and there were several people waiting to check in. The lobby area is small but well appointed. The desk clerk was extremely friendly and pleasant. I had a special deal through Chase called "The Edit" which provides a hotel credit of $100, free breakfast, a space-available upgrade and late checkout. The clerk was aware of that and informed me that the Maasa restaurant was not on that plan since its privately owned. We could use their restaurant, where we ate for dinner and breakfast. Parking was $60 per night, which seemed very high but similar to other properties on the street. The resort fee was about $60 as well and we didn't use any of the supposed amenities that the fee covered. It was basically a way to get more money from us for absolutely nothing. I usually won't even stay in a hotel that charges a resort fee but made an exception. So, before even checking in we had already spent $60 on parking and $60 on the resort fee in addition to the $800 our room cost for the night. Our room was not available so we explored the hotel. A few hours later we received a text that the room was ready. We did not get an upgrade. A bellmen helped us up to the room, showed us around the room and was very nice. The room was very clean, well appointed with a nice bathroom, two sinks, a nice touch, a private toilet, a bathtub, another nice touch, and a shower . It was all marble and very attractive. There was a very large balcony with a nice view of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable, and the furnishings were very nice. There was some complimentary water in addition to the a minibar where a small packet of M & M's were $12. We went to the gym which was very basic with a few machines, towels, lockers which I couldn't figure out how to use, several treadmills, a few weighlifting machines, and a nice water dispenser. It was nicer that a basic motel gym but for the cost of the hotel, not up to expectations. After the gym we went to the pool. There are two pools, one was "adult only" but was directly next to the all family pool. The adults-only pool was surrounded by cabanas, which apparently were available for $400 rental, but there were no signs indicating that. We found out by sitting down and being told we couldn't sit there unless we paid to rent the cabana for the day. it was sunny and all of the "free" seating was in the hot sun and that was not going to work for us. There were many empty cabanas and it was quite irratating to pay $800+ for a hotel room and not be able to use the cabana without paying more. The family pool was not large and there wasn't enough seating for non-cabana guests. Kids were screaming and it was an unpleasant experience so we left the pool after a few minutes. Hardly the experience we were expecting for the price we paid. We ate in their cafe for dinner. It was nice with very wonderful service. Drinks averaged $25 and we ordered a house red wine, which to our surprise, was $38 a glass. The dinner was "small plates" and averaged about $25 per plate, We ordered roasted chicken which was $52, plus an eggplant spread which came with pita bread, and the most delicious dessert ever, a Dubai chocolate cake thing that was to die for. Our dinner was $235 with tip for the above-listed items. Very overpriced but very good. The next day we had breakfast in the same place and it was $84 for a waffle, a cup of coffee and a smoked salmon plate that was served with what they call a "jerusalem bagel" which was OK but very small. They gave a very decent amount of fish on the plate, but the bagel was so tiny I needed to ask for more and the waiter brought another bagel at no charge. We were given late checkout but ended up leaving at noon. We tried to go to the pool again but it was crowded and full of kids screaming. All in all, for the money, there are much nice and more luxurious places to stay. I feel that the value for the money was very bad and I would not stay here again. Read less
