Some sweet details on this hotel that I loved: nearby Publix in case of forgotten items, trees that are tall enough to make the 8th floor rooftop pool feel like a garden, great depth and length of the pool for early morning laps, feels very secure with keyed access in elevator, great proximity to the river walkway along the New River, friendly… Read more

One night getaways are not always restful because of early check outs; this was PERFECT. Would highly recommend this property! Read less

The rooms, restaurant, and all furnishing fixtures and equipment were spot on as you would expect at a luxury Hyatt property. What differentiated my service experience and placed it at a five star level, was the fact that I arrived without notice at 5 AM day of arrival. If you travel often enough, then you realize that check it doesn’t begin until mid afternoon and it was surely a gamble to ask if there would be any way to accommodate. And here in lies the differentiated service experience, the overnight front desk representative without hesitation, found me a room and for a reasonable early check-in Fee provided me a room that I could go upstairs and sleep for a couple hours and shower before heading to a meeting. Already booked my next trip, and will be coming frequent and offered enough that I now feel comfortable knowing when I am away from home, there’s a welcoming team for me here. Read less

The hotel is located in the best spot to experience all of Fort Lauderdale. It is approximately a ten minute ride from the airport. It is on located in Las Olas and steps away from the Riverwalk and just a few minutes away from the beach. The hotel itself is beautiful. We opted for a balcony with a city view and the view did not disappoint. The balcony was larger than expected. Yes, as others have mentioned, it can be a little noisy due to the traffic but the hotel has a wonderful sound machine that we used at night. The room was clean and has tons of space. The only reason I deducted a star was because I am not a fan of destination fees and we found the breakfast in the hotel to be average but pricey. The destination fee is $25 a day and it allows access to bikes and a 10% discount on the riverwalk boat taxi. Neither of these were things we were interested in. Simply add the fee into the upfront pricing. We stayed two nights before a cruise and took an Uber to the port for $25 (the hotel staff indicated that a taxi would be unreliable so we figured out Uber). It is less than 15 minute drive from the port. Overall, this hotel is a 4.5 out of 5. Read less
