There's a wide variety of dining options available within the hotel too - with Wild Sea featuring an impressive raw bar and a creative seafood menu, all of which can be enjoyed whilst watching the yachts sail down the river. The Golden Lyon Pub and Preston's Wine and Martini Lounge both offer happy hours for a pre-dinner tipple too. If you're not planning to spend much time in your room, the Micro room offers value for money, but upgrading will give you more space to relax in for families.

“Exceptional holiday experience in Fort Lauderdale!”

Normally, we stay at the same three hotel chains, but we took a chance on the Riverside Hotel based on a family recommendation, and we are so glad we did! The location was super convenient, the atmosphere was quiet yet still full of holiday cheer, and the service was impeccable, especially what was provided by Alan Hicks. Due to their capacity, we were able to receive an upgrade to a premium room, which only increased our stay value as we were already paying less than expected! We highly recommend this hotel and all its amenities!

“Elevator issues, Dirty Floors, Uneven Service Exoeriences”

When we came to check in, our room wasn’t ready, so the front desk gave us a different room and a $50 credit for a meal to make up for it - great! We dropped off our things, and went out to dinner. Upon our return, the elevators weren’t working. Our room as on the 11th floor, so I went up to the front desk to report it. I found an older gentleman there, and when I told him about the elevators, he told me that two other ladies had already reported it, and that he had called maintenance - and no, he didn’t know when it would be running again. He was quite curt about it towards me, and I didn’t appreciate it. Returning to the elevators, a very nice man from security brought us, and another couple with luggage to the service elevator to go up to our rooms. Thank you to him, for the excellent customer service! When we returned to our room for the evening, we started to notice that our floors were really dirty - dried splatters, toenails, and dirt. Upon checking out, I mentioned all of the above to the lady…and while she apologized, it was a very… “Yes, yes, sorry, ok bye.” She also was unable to fully check me out due to the breakfast restaurant not turning in our room charge yet. I certainly hope they show us as checked out on time - I still haven’t received my emailed folio, as promised. This was just an ok stay - the pillows were small, and the bed was hard for our tastes. All things considered, we’ll likely stay elsewhere next time we’re in Ft. Lauderdale.

Special thanks to Marlene. She was very kind and professional. It was a very busy day but she was very calm and handle herself well. Such great attitude. There was a young man there that morning there, I didn't catch his name but he was nice as well. Hopefully they have additional help because they were busy. The food was good. Everything was so close to the hotel. Great stay. We will be back.
