The hotel

There’s nothing quite like playing golf where the greats do: this golfer’s paradise hosts the PGA TOUR’s Cognizant Classic every February, with living legends playing its famous Championship Course. Recently redesigned by Jack Nicklaus, as part of the hotel’s multi-million dollar renovation, it’s just one of 6 exceptional courses open to guests here. It’s not just the fairways that have been revamped; the PGA National Resort has also given a fabulous makeover to its renowned full-service spa, huge Sports & Racquet Club, guest rooms, and dining venues. The Butchers Club is a must try, serving signature dishes by famous celebrity chef Jeremy Ford.

My Florida Kiwanis Organization all went for a 4 day convention, and it was the most beautiful resort I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was extremely gracious and accommodating! The room was huge and always kept very clean! The ballroom spaces were perfect for our large size of members!

This was my second stay at PGA National Resort, and once again it didn’t disappoint. The resort is very well kept, everything feels clean and updated throughout the property. The amenities are excellent, and the atmosphere around the pool was great, even with families and kids around. It never felt too crowded or noisy. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. I also want to highlight the dining options, especially The Butcher’s Club, which I highly recommend for anyone staying here. On top of that, the staff across the resort were consistently friendly and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. Looking forward to coming back next year again. Read less
