“287,500 Marriott Bonvoy Points Plus $200.00 per night for this???”

Refuse to book into ROOM 411, this would be bad room in any budget hotel chain - But then I paid 287,500 Marriot Bonvoy points PLUS $200.00 per night for 8 nights,(3/14-3-22) you read that right, and I had a heat/air conditioning system that caused so much coughing each morning until after the 3rd night i I just turned it off completely, ripped carpeting about 4"x2 " directly outside the bathroom door about 1 foot into the room, our bathroom sink had a 8"-10" jagged crack directly in the middle of it, the porcelain faucet handles for the same sink were both badly chipped, a toilet height comfortable for use by tall people (NBA) the tufted headboard on the bed had a button ripped out, and looked really shabby, and the room is very narrow and shares a common wall with a poorly insulated interior staircase leading to Room 510 above, and you get lots of attendant noise from those folks coming and going up and down that staircase, finally it's on the very busy road side of the hotel (Business 1) near the area bars with plenty of late night vehicle noise and pedestrian foot traffic until the bars close - the lone positive here, housekeeping was great the entire stay and a really great city I'll return to

Had a great time visiting St Augustine. When I arrived, Jake the valet set the tone for a great stay, he’s a huge asset to the team. If you’re visiting Casa Monica, you’ll be in good hands with him.
