This hotel was the hang-out of aristocracy and royalty; inside, it's all tapestries, velvet and chandeliers, with top-class dining and discreet service. It's in the heart of the Historic District, where you'll find boutiques, antique shops, museums and more. The Poseidon Spa is a great addition to this luxurious hotel and provides the perfect place for some relaxation and pampering. If the hotel itself isn't already enough, you've got access to the private Serenata Beach Club on pristine Ponte Vedra Beach, which is just a 15 minute drive away. “Disappointing- I was expecting a much better experience for the money.”

This hotel is overpriced, dated, noisy and lacks basic hotel amenities for a luxury hotel, i.e., daily room cleaning and nighttime turndown service. With so many hotel options in St. Augustine, there is no need to spend $600 +++ to stay at this hotel. I was really disappointed.

Horrible disgusting hotel with inept management. Our room had the smell of decaying animal. Manager was condescending and not helpful. Room did not have fridge, microwave or extra blankets. He got our reservation mixed up and insisted we needed to check out. It was just a horrible mess at this price point. Do not stay at this filthy hotel.
