“Nice, clean resort”

The resort is very clean and the beach is well kept but the pool water was very warm and not very refreshing. They have people checking your bags when you go into the pool area so that you don’t bring any outside food or drinks. They say no coolers or cups, but we brought our own empty insulated cups to keep our drinks cold because the air was so hot the ice melted in seconds lol. They did have water coolers all around the pool so that you could fill up cups of water without having to go to the bar. We stayed in building 2 which is closest to the pool and beach. I would not recommend getting a poolside room because the music starts at 7:30 am and doesn’t stop until 11:00 pm. the bed was very comfortable and I loved the pillows. They have very nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and moisturizer for use. Your resort fee includes 2 lounges at the beach with an umbrella and a table and they have servers taking food and drink orders. They were very attentive. The water is not as clear as I thought it would be but that is not the fault of the resort. Overall a nice relaxing vacation.

Very nice, extremely clean room & resort with a good location to walk to shops and restaurants. It is on pricey side do to the beach and the view for an a Premium Room. Also don’t like sharing the pool and beach with public, as they have day use. They could use showers at the beach, as they only offer foot was station. The beach was where the let down was!!! Not soft powder sand this is hard sand, but white. The water isn’t clear enough to see your feet. They could also rake the beach and make it pristine! More than likely won’t stay here again.

Our stay was unfortunately disappointing due to several avoidable service issues. We arrived at the hotel by Uber and did not have a vehicle for the duration of our stay, yet we were charged for valet parking twice under the memo “Rodriguez.” There was never a car to valet, so these charges make no sense. We checked in and were placed on the waitlist for our room at approximately 2:30 p.m. We returned at the standard 4:00 p.m. check-in time, only to be told our room still wasn’t ready. We didn’t receive our room until around 5:00 p.m. While delays happen and we understand that, the front desk concierge apologized for the inconvenience and told us the resort fee for the day would be waived. Unfortunately, we were still charged the resort fee anyway. To make matters worse, our shower’s body wash dispenser was empty for our entire stay and was never refilled despite housekeeping servicing the room. The most frustrating part has been trying to resolve these issues after checkout. I’ve been attempting to contact the hotel for over a week. Each time I’m told someone will call me back, or the call goes to an answering machine. Mistakes happen, and we would have been understanding had the hotel followed through on what was promised. Instead, we were incorrectly charged, promised fees were not waived, basic room amenities were overlooked, and customer service has been nonexistent. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend staying here.
