My reason for not giving five stars is when you charge a hefty resort fee and the hotel is extremely slow it shouldn't be a problem to let a guest have a second umbrella at the beach. I understand one per room but we were literally one of very few at the beach that day and we were not asking for a cabana. Read less

This is a lovely hotel with lots to do. We stayed in the sirene adults only area and upgraded at a cost to the corner suite. Having previously stayed in a gulf front regular suite I’m not sure the upgrade was worth the cost. It was also a bit of a faff checking in I didn’t find the girl that friendly or helpful. That said we had some lovely food at a couple of the restaurants and enjoyed our time at the pool although again the service was a bit off as I watched the pool lady time and time again walk round and offer water to everyone around the pool apart from myself and my partner. The first couple of times it happened I thought fair enough she’s busy but after several times I assumed we hadn’t tipped enough to be offered water. We have stayed here before and loved it but this time around it did fall below expectations I have to say. So we won’t be rushing back any time soon. Read less

It was so, so hot. All of the pools were so warm they wouldn’t cool you off. The ocean was like bath water too. It was beautiful but there were no air conditioned restaurants at the hotel either. At least inside h the e room was nice and cool. Very luxurious otherwise
