“Customer service like it used to be”
Feb 13, 2026arib7It all started with Alberto at the front desk! The level of outstanding customer service provided by him was amazing, the last hotel I felt that way was at Le Sirenuse! The suite was great immaculate clean! The service at Maury’s also felt like NYC in the old days. This hotel really train its staff to be the best, keep up the good job.

Feb 11, 2026CawktalesLet me say first that we have never stayed here before, and it is one of the best properties we have ever stayed at. I have nothing but great things to say about this resort. We stayed early week, Sunday night through Wednesday. The pools were amazing. The outlets were amazing. The people were amazing. That being said, there’s always room for improvement. We found the bartenders to be lacking in training. Many of them did not know how to make simple drinks, and the drinks that they did make were just not quite right. I tried ordering a Dark & Stormy in several of the outlets, including the pool, and each time I got a different drink. A true Dark & Stormy should be made with Gosling‘s dark rum and ginger, beer, preferably Goslings ginger beer, garnished with a slice of lime. I gave up after the second day and went with a rum & Coke. Spend some time training your bartenders, and you will have a perfect score. Also, for such a large resort, I was surprised to see most of the outlets empty with early closing times. People want to stay up late when they’re on vacation and hang out at a bar. You might try having at least one of your bars stay open until 1 AM. Many in our party were disappointed that the place seemed like a ghost town after 10 PM, with many of them closing earlier than 10 PM. Lastly, we were dumbfounded that parking was not included. If this were a large metropolitan area, I would understand charging for the parking. But Punta Gorda is not a large metropolitan area. You may want to rethink the parking charge.
