This hotel is a work of art. Quite literally! As you walk into the hotel you'll instantly notice the distinctive artwork and creative decorations surrounding you, and during your stay you're likely to see curated gallery exhibitions as well as art and wine tours on offer - so you can really ignite your creative mind! Whilst the art is a key factor in making this hotel so great, there's a host of other facilities to enjoy too - one of our favourites being the rooftop pool and bar where you can enjoy lovely views of Sarasota and the marina whilst taking a dip or enjoying a cocktail. The perks continue in your room, with colouring pencils and a sketchbook as well as a ukelele! Opt for a high floor room to enjoy more beautiful views, they're definitely worth it. The hotel is in the heart of Sarasota so it's easy to explore. Sarasota farmers market is just a couple of minutes walk away, and you're only 3 miles from the beautiful Lido Key Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Complimentary bicycles are available too, so you can whip around the town to find some great restaurants and shops.

“Great hotel staff”

The staff at art ovation totally go out of their way to make you feel like a vip . MY first contact was John DePalma who went above and beyond to make my check in a breeze. He was a total professional and through out my stay was always there to take care of me. Adam and his staff at the car valet always went out of their way to take care of my car they were great

This is an amazing resort. It is like an art gallery with a hotel in it. I am a repeat guest and would highly recommend this hotel. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant & professional. The room was immaculately clean and well stocked. Restaurant and lobby bar were lovely. Food excellent. Fairly priced drinks and happy hour. Pool was beautiful and bartenders on roof were excellent as well.

We had a great experience at the Art Ovation Hotel. Our room was comfortable and the hotel staff was great. Our server at breakfast in Tzeva, Joe, took excellent care of us and was very helpful in suggesting menu items. We used the hotel shuttle several times during our visit, and Josh and John were wonderful tour guides/drivers. If you are looking for a unique place to stay in Sarasota, this is it!
