Where is it

located at the entrance to Anna Maria Island–a private, 220-acre island escape steeped in history, but Bradenton Beach and Holmes Beach are just a short drive away. The distance from Tampa International Airport (TPA) to Bradenton is approximately 30 miles (about 48 kilometers).

123 rooms. All rooms have air conditioning, 50" LCD Smart TV, High-Speed Internet, Mini-Fridge, Coffee Maker, Iron & ironing board, and hairdryer. Standard Rooms have either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

The staff and ambiance are always so welcoming, the hotel is super clean and the meticulously maintained. The restaurant and bar are fantastic, the bar tenders and restaurant staff are amazing. The food and the breakfast are amazing. Always a pleasure visiting this resort.

We had an amazing experience this weekend at the Compass. Our daughter’s graduation celebration was held on the outdoor deck. Such a beautiful location.ALL of the staff was very attentive and so very friendly. Highly recommend the Compass on Anna Maria Sound!!

We love the location, service, food and amenities. The Compass Margaritaville is a home away from home! The staff makes you feel like you are their #1 responsibility. You are 1 mile from Anna Maria Island and 20 miles from Sarasota, if you want to take a day trip.

This hotel is spectacular! It's beautiful, great location. Staff are friendly. Rooms are huge and spacious. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the marina and we loved it. Perfect to watch the sunset from. We even got to see manatees in the marina. The beds are extremely comfortable with high end linens and down feathers. Lots of pillows on… Read more
