Almost everyone we encountered that worked there was so kind and accommodating. Sam and Paula at pool always had a smile and Anastasia and Abigail at breakfast, lovely. But for the most part, all staff and service was excellent. The only area for improvement would be food. The food itself is ok. Would love to have coffee for guests in the lobby as many hotels do now (it’s in the room but I wasn’t able to go to the store for milk) and some sort of quick and easy to-go food situation. Two mornings there were several of us trying to leave for golf and tennis trying to get food to go from Latitudes from the one person working behind the bar. Even a wait for a muffin was long. Maybe some of the other servers could jump in and help or allow people to take food to go from the buffet (when asked if I could make a bagel to go at the buffet and was willing to pay the full price of the buffet, I was told no, the buffet was only for people sitting down to eat, of which, there were very few at that time). Highly recommend just needs some food management adjustments! Read less

Upscale beach front resorts aren’t cheap, but the Longboat key club is a decent value. One more thing, Latitudes the onsite restaurant was vey good for lunch. Read less

Visited with two other couples for a golf trip. The only negative was the reservation experience which was frustratingly difficult. However, the stay was wonderful. Staff were all courteous and helpful in the "hotel"and at the golf courses. Rooms were bright, airy and clean. Housekeeping was attentive and prompt.

Pretty disappointing. The beach is pretty and the cabanas and beach chairs offered are nice. However, this place will nickel and dime you for everything, even though you're paying so much to stay there. I wanted a coffee top-off after breakfast and they grumbled about that, saying that this time it's free but next time I have to pay for a second… Read more

We just attended a wedding at this resort. My husband and I were 1 of more than 30 couples that stayed at the resort. The resort location is beautiful and the rooms clean and spacious. The food very good. What was TERRIBLE was the resort manager and his attitude. The resort uses and outside reservation company. The price quoted us and what the resort charged us was not the same. The manager told us to bring this up with the bride and groom. They signed a contract. The bride/groom wanted to hand out gift bags to their guests and they wanted to charge them $5 a bag. The resort places a service charge on everthing. They also charge a $40 resort fee per day. If you want an umbrella on the beach that costs $35 a day after service charge. The resort is very expensive and offers very little compared to other resorts. Fir the amount of money the bride and groom paid for their wedding at the clubhouse at this resort and what they offered them and treated many of the bridal party guests I would never stay there again. I vacation at the Sandals Resorts for the last 8 years and they offer much, much more and treat their guests much better. All drinks, food, golf, entertainment and activities are included and no add on resort fees and service charges for everything. Read less
