“AWESOME Stay at JW Marriott Clearwater Beach, FL January 2026”

After a very difficult transition from a scheduled, paid-for condo that ghosted us (the day of our travel; but thank you Booking.com for refunding us!), we were able to book room 1612 (top floor, full view of ocean) at the JW Marriott in Clearwater Beach, Florida. A 3-bedroom unit. The Pros: AMAZING room, stunning views and even MORE AMAZING was the staff. So helpful, friendly, accommodating, kind, funny and who made our week absolutely fabulous. Shout outs starting with Collin and Aiden - in transportation and who were sooo much fun and taking us on the island in the hotel golf cart (buggy? Whatever - great fun and so much laughter!); James at the Latitudes Bar (also beach shack) - such patience and kindness and a wonderfully friendly, upbeat attitude; he can turn any frown upside down into a smile!; Janine at the pool bar - sweet, friendly, helpful and simply one of the nicest people anyone could ever meet; Ursula - at the Latitudes Bar - she's someone we all just wanted to spend more time with, my sister and cousin were cold and she brought them blankets, we were singing along with the music and she joined in, she made the best drinks and has such a fun personality!; and Nick, also in transportation and just such an accommodating, helpful, friendly person, we were leaving and were sad and he made us laugh and it was like saying 'see you later' to a great friend. So many others too - front desk team, the beach shack staff; pool bar staff - truly a wonderful team. And a very clean hotel too (and I'm picky)! The Cons: ...hmm...hard to think of any! Okay, it's kind of pricey and not on the main beach, but, wow, I would return here in a heartbeat (and plan to!).

The workers in the spa are amazing! Natalya does our pedicures. Catherine, Juliana and Chris always take very good care of us. We are local, so we usually go to the spa once a month. Every time we do, it’s like an old friend reunion.

The valet team here deserves a standing ovation, a raise, and possibly their own reality series. Huge shoutout to Ethan, Erik, and Tim - truly the dream team. From the moment we arrived, unhinged energy and all, they were friendly, efficient, professional, and somehow made valet parking seem like a five-star experience instead of a logistical necessity. They were welcoming without being overbearing, quick without being rushed, and handled everything with the kind of calm confidence that instantly puts you at ease. Every interaction felt genuinely kind and attentive (not scripted) - which makes all the difference. If you're staying here and these 3 are working - congratulations - your trip just started off on the highest possible note. They represent the hotel exceptionally well and absolutely deserve recognition. 12/10. No notes.
