Shout out to Nick T in Valet! I had the most amazing time while on vacation with my family, and Nick and his team are exceptional! They went above and beyond to make me family's stay a wonderful experience. And this is not my first encounter with Nick nor will it be my last. He is the prime example of what great Customer Service is about and why I choose to keep coming back. Thank you for all you and your team do Nick! Nothing but first class treatment by a fine leader. ☆☆☆☆☆

“A beautiful place to relax”

This is my second visit to JW Marriott in Clearwater Beach, and I'm sure it won't be the last. This is a hotel for those seeking relaxation in a beautiful, serene setting. With a lovely private beach, attentive beach service, and the clean, calm bay waters, this is the perfect place for drinks and sunbathing. Families will appreciate the safe waters and local conveniences. The property has a restaurant and a quick-buy cafe with coffee, pastries, sandwiches and salads. It is walkable to many restaurants and a convenience store to grab water and snacks for the room. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern, some with an incredible water view. I love that the hotel is in a quiet area, not the lively downtown area of Clearwater Beach. The JW isn't a party hotel. If you're looking for a party, it's a short Uber or bicycle ride away. A sunseeker or beachreader or oceanfloater will find all the relaxation and conveniences they need at the JW Marriott in Clearwater Beach.

“Basic Hotel --- Not really even on the beach.”

This property is far from what I would consider a true resort. The food was very basic, and the small waterfront area should not be advertised as a beach. It felt more like a canal-side hotel than an oceanfront or Gulf beach resort. There are no real ocean or Gulf views, and it is a long walk from the main Clearwater Beach area. Honestly, this felt like the “Temu version” of a JW Marriott—closer to a standard DoubleTree experience than a luxury resort. Do not assume that the JW Marriott name automatically means you are getting something special. Do your research before booking. I was not impressed and would not stay here again.
