We were are local and didn't truly go on a vacation, we had to leave the house for two days to take care of the Florida scourge -- termites. I went in with just the expectations of a clean place to sleep and hang our hats.  It was MORE!!  The hotel was spotless and furnishings were all newer. We decided to treat ourselves and upgrade to a waterfront suite.  The view was great and it was Westward facing so you could have a cup of coffee on the balcony in the morning and not be sweltering. Word must have gotten out about us to the staff because two or three employees mentioned they knew we were there due to an infestation and offered kind words while welcoming us.  Talk about feeling special!! As people have mentioned this is walking distance from Publix -- Florida's most popular grocery. We were able to keep our waters and coffee cream cold in the nice mini fridge.  The bathroom accessories -- make up mirror and hair dryer were both great, as well.   Last January we actually stayed at a "higher end" Marriott close to Disney and the suite at this Courtyard was not only BETTER than the boujey hotel, it was cleaner and just an all around awesome stay.  Everyone we encountered at the hotel were welcoming and helpful.  We had an unexpected nice dinner out when Shelli at the front desk told us about a happy hour special at Salt Rock Grill just a short drive away.  It was LESS than we usually pay at Outback and that was with an adult beverage for each of us. (Mind you, that is ONLY Happy Hour pricing which ends at 5:30) The TV was a tad on the small side, BUT you can get HBO, Netflix and other premium channels.  It was very easy to figure out the remote as well. This hotel and its top tier staff get an A+++ from this traveler. PS.  One other thing -- parking is shaded which is a BIG plus in Florida summers. Read less

The staff is very friendly. Hotel has a sweeping sea view of the area. Small marina by the parking lot and Slyce Pizza restaurant within walking distance. There is a Publix super market near by, that made it very convenient to get what we needed for the trip. Our room was with marina and ocean view. So quiet that we didn't even hear any wind or other noises. Two very spacious queen size beds with plenty of sitting area (it was an executive suite). There is a parking garage, as well as parking lot with plenty spaces. $12 per night. The only inconvenience was we had requested 4 pm late check out, but somewhere it got lost in the process. The Front Desk resolved the problem promptly, apologized a number of times. This is a very nice property. Read less

After being displaced from my home due to Hurricane Helene, the Courtyard by Marriott in Madeira Beach, FL took me and my pets in for an extended stay. They made me feel at home and the staff to include the Management-Carri, Bryan; Front desk staff-Jeffrey, Kiersten, Shelli, others; Bar/Restaurant-Teagen, Graham, others; Coffee barista-Joyce, others were absolutely wonderful and professional.
