I was expecting just a random hotel type bar experience and I was very surprised by the both the drink selection and the amazing personality of the bartender. I asked for a suggestion on what was really good there and I was asked what I like. It took a minute and Steve recommended a drink called “The Suite Life”!! Absolutely amazing choice and service. This is the type of person you want tending bar. Super attentive, he was very aware of his other customers, and he seemed to be able to make it feel like I was the most important person in the room. Not usually impressed, but Steve is on another level. Will definitely go back!!

Just finished a 3-night stay for a mother/daughter weekend and had a wonderful visit. I was a bit apprehensive given the newness of property and few reviews. No regrets! Hotel has a retro, boutique vibe. From the beach to the pool to the Sundrop patio - no reason to leave. Rooms were well appointed (AC works great). Beds comfy. Hotel staff was excellent. Thx to Trevor and Jason at front desk. Great add to the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. Would definitely stay again.

“Sundrop Drinks”

I had the pleasure of visiting Sandrop with some friends last week. We got food and drinks from the bar, everything was exceptional. Our bartende Steve was the nicest guy and so knowledgeable about all the signature drinks. I told him I liked rum so he made me a rum old fashioned that was incredible. My friends got the pink flamingo and the bubble was so cool! We’ll def be back soon!!
