First off I wanted to say we have stayed her a few times, and the place is lovely, staff has always been wonderful, but we traveled to the hotel Saturday June7th for a one night stay and checked out Sunday around noon time. I always place my jewelry in one of the water glasses and (necklace & earrings) and for the first time ever left the room without putting them on. We had a lovely breakfast and off to our 3pm flight back to Boston. The flight ended up being delayed for a few hours, and we arrived home late Sunday night. I was getting dressed to go to work and when I went to put on my earrings and necklace I felt a wave of panic that oh my gosh I left them in the water glass at the hotel. I called and spoke to a young women who told me she would check back with me shortly. I waited a bit and then placed another call, and this time spoke to a women named Maya. She was so understanding of my worry and sick feeling, and said she would speak to the women that cleaned my room. Not ten minutes later and I get a call back from a women saying this is Maya and we did not find your jewelry. I thought it funny as it was minutes between the calls and her voice was not the same as the women I just spoke to, I did not say anything about just speaking to Maya, but asked for sure they checked the water glasses. She told me the cleaning staff clean the glasses and they did not see the Van Cleff necklace or the diamond earrings. I can't tell you how sick I still am over this. Within the hour I get a call back from Maya, Mrs C. I checked with the cleaning staff no one found anything. I proceeded to state again they were in the water glass. She said let me check as the glasses are cleaned in the kitchen, and I will check with them. So I'm not sure if they have two Maya's working for them. I was given a call back and once again nothing was found. She told me she would have her Supervisor Darren call me, which he did and said we have a periodical and I will let you know the outcome. The outcome was not good. I'm sick over this, and yes my fault for not putting them on, and devastated to the core of the loss of my pieces that had wonderful memories. I stated again, maybe they stacked the glasses on top of each other and not noticing. I keep praying to Saint Anthony. Also I'm 10000% I left them in that glass. My husband and I went to have breakfast, and said I was about to say something to you when they walked over with our amazing breakfast and was distracted. He said I was just about to say where is your necklace. We had at this point checked out of our room. Read less

We stayed at the Epicurean Hotel in Tampa last week and had a truly fantastic experience—wish we could have stayed longer! The location is absolutely perfect, with lots of great local restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. There's even an incredible homemade ice cream shop just across the carpark that was a hit with the whole family! From the moment we arrived, the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful—nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, bright, modern, and spotless. With two large queen beds, it was perfect for our family of four and gave us plenty of room to relax together. The food at the hotel was delicious—we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, and the coffee was spot-on too. The pool area is a peaceful little oasis with fancy, comfy sunbeds that made it feel extra luxurious. Parking was easy with the valet service, and everything about our stay just felt seamless and relaxing. We would highly recommend the Epicurean Hotel and will definitely be back next time we're in the Tampa area! Read less

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Epicurean Hotel in Tampa from April 11–13 while visiting from the UK for my daughter's wedding, and I can genuinely say the experience exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the beautifully designed interiors. The food and beverage theming throughout the hotel is not only tasteful but perfectly curated — it adds a distinctive charm that sets this hotel apart. My room (309) was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. Every detail had been considered, and the overall cleanliness and attention to guest comfort was outstanding. Special thanks must go to Ashton Hatter, the Front Office Manager, who looked after me with such professionalism and care. Ashton clearly runs a tight ship — it’s evident he’s respected by both the team and guests, and he ensured everything during my stay flowed seamlessly. Nick, the Food & Beverage Manager, also deserves a mention for his attentiveness and for overseeing such a memorable dining experience. The food was absolutely superb — especially the post-wedding brunch, which was a highlight for me. The theatre kitchen venue was truly unique and added a special flair to the occasion. A big thank you as well to Audrey Greminger, Director of Sales, for her gracious hospitality and for helping make the wedding weekend run so beautifully. And to Housekeeping — your work does not go unnoticed. The room was immaculate and serviced with care and consistency throughout my stay. This hotel is a real gem. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in making my visit special. I’m so happy I made the trip — not just for the wedding, but for the chance to stay at such a remarkable place. Thank you all for the unforgettable experience. Warmest regards, Richard Read less
