We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights - October 10 & 11. First the positives - The location of the hotel is great, very convenient, nice views, walking distance to so many places, and great riverwalk access off of the pool deck. Also, very convenient and friendly valet car service workers. We won't be returning though. Once you get out of the lobby and onto the floors there is a strong smell of mold. This hotel has defintely been a victim to water damage. Our room almost smelled unbearable and caused us to cough and gag upon entry. The ceiling in our room had water damage and there were cracks in the top of the wall. The carpet was very dirty looking as was the bathroom tile and shower. We had a customer service issue on Friday evening. We needed sheets for the couch bed and called down to the desk. We were told they would be up soon with the sheets. After an hour of waiting and no sheets, we called down to the front desk again (4 times, only to be put on hold 4 times with no one ever coming back to us - we had to hang up and call back each time only to be put back on hold - 30 minutes in total) While we were on hold we could hear the front desk worker laughing and talking it up with someone else. I finally came down to the front desk in my pajamas and was given a set of sheets and a blanket. I would have had no problem doing this in the first place if they would have told me they wouldn't be able to deliver them.

I had the best time at Hotel Tampa Riverwalk enjoying myself by the pool after a long work week. Joe and Abby’s service was impeccable, cocktails delicious and the view is out of a postcard. Will definitely be back.
