Super nice hotel and love that they have a cute beach to sit by and sunbathe into. The front desk lady Tania was super helpful with my check in and able to get me in sooner than later. While I waited she told me I wait on their beach and that was nice.

We stayed at The Westin Tampa Bay after arriving on a late flight, and check-in was quick and easy. The front desk staff was friendly, and I appreciated that the high-floor request I had noted in my profile was honored. We used self-parking, which was convenient. The hotel itself is beautiful, updated, and very clean. Our room was spotless and had a great view of the bay. The bed and pillows were comfortable as was the guest robe provided. Disappointed that the beautiful pool area a pool was closed during our stay. I don’t recall receiving any advance notification, and since I was in town for a training, I had been looking forward to relaxing by the pool between sessions. We ended up spending some time on the small beach area instead, but it wasn’t the most appealing. And the birds were quick at trying to source any unattended food. . Overall, we had a very good stay. The staff was welcoming, the accommodations were comfortable, and I would definitely stay here again.

Overcharged on rate that was quoted. Make sure if you are getting an “extended stay quote” that you get the average rate per night and understand. The location was nice but our shower in our room wouldn’t drain which was inconvenient. Make sure the pool is open especially if you have children. The restaurant is overpriced. Would recommend the Holiday Inn Express that is right down the road.
